Kimberly’s POV We tried to forget about the dreadful event that had happened only a few minutes back, as we made our way through the crowd. We had not only used some time to get over what had happened and collected ourselves, but also spend time on making sure that Lina was nowhere in the building. Marie had even given the security her details so they could make sure that she wouldn’t be able to enter again once they had made sure she was no longer there. It had been long enough and now the results of the “hard” work were done all week and my speech was finally up. The rich people were funny like that. They considered going to events like this, drinking and eating for an entire week, as hard work. If only they lived in the same reality as I did then they’d know the true meaning of it.
