Chapter 23Anger filled every fibre of his body. His head pounded so hard, his eyes blurred. “Damn,” he snarled. For months her house had been like Grand Central Station. She was never alone. At first, he wondered who that other woman and kid were. Some sort of relation 'cause the kids look alike. Suddenly, they're all gone for days. Then she's home and all the world's visiting her.
