Chapter 9The man slipped quietly in the front door and tread softly towards his study. His hope was to lock himself in his private world before Rose knew he was home. He was halfway down the hall before noticing the light shining across the floor in front of the study door. He stopped in his tracks. Something wasn't right. The light could only mean one thing.
