Alex was coming back today! My heart thumped hard in my rib cage as I went about my day. He is coming back today… after I did THAT to him. My face burnt as I thought of my sudden bold move. I hope he won't hold that against me. He hasn’t tried contacting me so I guess that he is ok?
I crossed the road to a cozy cafe for a croissant. One thing about the main circle where we live is that there are as many cuisines available as you can imagine. French cafes, Italian restaurants, English tea shops, Indian restaurants, Chinese takeaways, Kebab and Shawarma joints, American diners, German bars, Greek restaurants, you name it.
