My parents left the day after I took the potion after much coaxing from me. I didn’t want to delay their trips when I was clearly fine and they couldn’t help anyway. The days went back to normal again. Alex and I kept a close eye on the experiments in the temporary lab. Over the days, we were told that they’re really close to replicating the nitrate solution so we check in in the temporary lab regularly. We were at the lab right after sending my parents off.
