The ECHO

it's the 3rd of June 2074, Robots roam the streets, the streets are dark and filled with smoke from fires the bums gather round to keep warm. A delivery bot just drops off the mail, Louis peeps out of the window blinds as if checking if he was being watched. Louis is a dark skinned man in his late 30's, has a full beard and he also wears glasses. he looks really haggard there's a coffee stain on his grey shirt. he looks at his apartment there's packs of half eaten take out and pizza boxes lying around, papers and files everywhere and pictures of a girl on the walls, at a corner in the room is a computer setup with what appears to be very sophisticated processors and devices, and his assist bot plugged into the wall. Assist bots (A-bots)were issued as personal helpers to every citizen of the United Federation of nations (UFN). They'll play a big role in the invasion apocalypse. Louis says the phrase to activate the bot, and sends it out to get the mail, as the bot makes the trip to the mail box Louis peeps out the window blinds anxiously; as if expecting something would happen.. the A-bot comes back in the house with the mail. "thanks for your assistance" Louis said the A-bot replies "you're welcome Mr Farrel can I be of any further assistance" "no that would be all for now A-bot" Louis replies and the bot automatically powers down. Louis doesn't make use of the A-bot for too long at a time because the government could track his location as only him could activate it. He takes the package and he notices something weird that immediately catches his eyes the date on it says 3rd of June 2078. Fascinated by this he goes deeper into it and finds a matte black prism wrapped in a white cloth covered in someone's blood. But wait there's a note it reads "CRXX GRUN ZAWR CHUN TROQ". He knows he has seen this kind of language before and quickly runs it through his computer, and he gets a match, it's an ancient scruge enigma language. Even if he manages to translate it to english the translation would be an enigma and he'll have to figure that out also but for a guy with an IQ of 186 that should be no problem... a few moments have gone by. The note reads "the ECHO of the present is is a memory of the future and a shadow of the past" the repercussions of this message is outstanding, and leaves Louis dumbfounded. He knows exactly where he needs to go next, running around his apartment trying to fit things into his duffle bag as though the apartment was on fire, the look in his eyes like a man on a mission he looks around as though checking if he had forgotten anything, Anne without any hesitation he heads out...
