Chapter 13 Soulmates

1612 Words
"So what do you mean by his father is looking for him?" Liam asked as soon as they sat down on the chairs. "Order if you want something. I will pay." He said to Zeke who looked at him, surprised. "Let's order something first." Abigail said as she called a waiter over. "I will pay for my meal." "I wasn't going to pay for yours anyways." Liam said before asking Zeke what he wanted to eat. He gave both of their orders to the waiter and finally looked up towards Abigail who smiled at him. But he could tell she was thinking of a hundred ways to torture him in her mind. "So, What do you know about his father? And how do you know his name?" Liam asked, of course he knew the answer to both the questions but it's not like he could tell them that. "He sent me here to find him. And he told me his name. Look I know you don't trust me but he really was looking for you ever since he found out he had a son. But your mother won't tell him. He is really sick and I want him to meet his son before dying." She said pleadingly. Liam was really shocked by her acting skills. It was one thing reading it in a book but seeing it with his own eyes was different. "I will think about it." Zeke replied before all of them shut up as the food arrived. Liam was pleasantly surprised. In the book Zeke had agreed to go with her. And then Abigail manipulated him into making him feel like she was his friend. She sent Duke Lancaster in his room the night, before he was supposed to meet his 'father', who raped him. And after that when Zeke appeared she created a scene in front of everyone saying that his father was dead and that he shouldn't have given him hope if he wasn't going to meet him. This not only humiliated him but also made everyone start thinking of him as some petty person. It was then that Zeke's life turned into literal hell. What Liam never understood was why Zeke trusted Abigail so much? "Are you not going to eat?" Zeke's voice woke him up and Liam smiled at him before eating. --------------------- "It's time for me to leave. I'll be waiting for you here after 2 days. I hope you make a good decision." Abigail smiled as she sat in the carriage and left. "So I guess I have a lot of explaining to do?" Liam asked Zeke. He had talked to Violet and what he told him had surprised Liam but now he had the perfect reason for all his actions. He didn't want to lie but it's not like he could tell the truth. "We should come to my house first. We can sit there and you can explain everything." Zeke said his voice a lot less colder than when he talked to Abigail, his face was still emotionless though. It made sense to not talk here as it was getting dark. Liam nodded. He wasn't worried about Michael cause Violet had told him that he was fine and he will be back soon. He was still curious to where he was but he didn't like to stick his nose in other people's business. They reached the house and went inside in silence. Both of them being busy in their own thoughts. Zeke told him to sit on the couch and went inside the only room in the house. He returned after a few minutes. His hair were damp and he had changed his clothes. Liam looked at him and smiled as he sat down in front of him. "So I guess I'll start." Liam said a little nervously. "You want to know Who I am? why I gave you gifts? and all that?" "That and where you have been for 8 years." Zeke said. "Well, you know I am a Dragon right. I am a Cloud Dragon incase you didn't know. We Dragons have this thing called soulmates. Soulmates are the perfect partner chosen for us by, as some Dragons believe, God. Not every Dragon has one though, very few of our kind have them. Most of the Dragons just reject them because they don't want to be forced to love someone." Liam stopped for a sec before starting again. Zeke just kept quiet and listened to him. "Anyways when I met you, I was 10 years old and I had no idea about all this. Since very few Dragons have them most Dragons don't tell their cubs about them. I liked you the moment I met you and had the urge to protect you so, I did it. I did all that but it wasn't only because of the bond, I just wanted to protect you. So, what I am trying to say is that you are my soulmate. And I will understand if you don't want something like that with me." There was silence in the room. Zeke looked a little lost in his thoughts. And Liam didn't want to make him uncomfortable so he kept quiet. "This is a lot to take in. It's not that I don't like you but I don't want you to like me just because of me being your soulmate. I don't want you to regret it later." Zeke suddenly spoke. It was like he said, a lot to take in for him. He didn't hate the thought but he didn't want Liam to be forced to like him because of them being soulmates. He wanted to be loved but not like this. "I would never do this if I didn't like you. But if you want, we can try this relationship thingy and maybe you will still like me after getting to know me. And I promise I will wait for you cause you are still young." Liam said truthfully. He wouldn't say he loved Zeke but he liked him and he was his soulmate as Violet had told him. So, there was nothing wrong with trying. "I would love to try a relationship with you. I am 13 by the way." Zeke stood up walked towards him and kissed his cheeks. "You still haven't told me where you were for the last 8 years?" Liam told him truthfully about everything with the Church and Ethan. Zeke giggled when he told him how Ethan didn't let him come. And Liam was a little stunned seeing him giggling. He Could Get Used To This. ----------------------- Abigail smiled at the servants as she walked towards her room. There was a beautiful palace in front of her. It was decorated with expensive furniture and there were many things made of pure gold. "One day all this will belong to me. And that day is coming sooner than expected." She thought. "Everyone will bow down before me. And I will finally get rid of this act." The servants talked to each other about how nice she was and how they hoped she would become the Empress. No one could see her black soul, all they saw was a kind and angel like beauty. Where is that Prince? If he wasn't her key to the throne she would never marry someone like him. She deserves someone who knows her value. Wait till she gets the mark, she will teach everyone a lesson here a lesson on respect. She smiled, sincerely this time, when she felt the tattoo on her arm burn a little. Her Mother Was Here. *** "Mother" She said as she saw a woman sitting on the sofa in her room. "I didn't know you were com..." "I was here to ask you whether you found the boy or not." The woman said cutting her off. Just by looking at her people could tell that she was from a noble family. Her posture, where she placed her hand and her feet everything about her was perfect. "I did. I found him." Abigail replied quickly. She was happy she didn't disappoint her mother. "Let's move to Plan B than." She replied if she was happy with the answer you could never tell from her face. -------------------- Michael rubbed his eyes as he woke up. He nearly jumped and screamed after he saw a half naked man in front of him. Everything that happened yesterday came rushing back to him and he smiled. He had found his soulmate. It won't be easy for them to stay together with the world opposing them but he knew that he will never give up. Especially after meeting his soulmate and finding out that they were on the same page. He looked up towards Xavier who was sleeping peacefully. He looked so handsome right now that Michael wanted to squeal. He slowly pecked his lips before kissing his whole face. "I didn't know you were this happy in the morning. I can get used to waking up like this." Xavier said as he opened his eyes. Michael laughed as Xavier pulled him in his arms. "I need to leave though. Liam will get worried." Michael said to his mate. "I will come with you. And who is this Liam?" He asked and Michael could tell he was jealous. "He's my best friend and brother. You will need to impress him if you want to be my mate. We will need his blessing." Michael said making Xavier's jealousy disappear. "Well we better leave then cause we ain't getting no blessing this way." "Let me go then you idi..." . .. ... TC.
