As took my seat beside her, I couldn't resist the urge to intentionally brush my knee against hers; Oh goddess, the spark was so intense, even through layers of clothes. It this how it feels when you have physical contact with your mate? The feeling is so divine and exciting.
I guess she felt it too, judging by the way she way she became tensed up. She looked up from her food, giving me a confused look.
"Hello" I smilingly replied her former greeting, feigning innocence. She smiled back nervously, turning back to the plate of salad and chicken in front of her, trying to ignore me.
I watched her eat gracefully for some time before I shifted my attention to Kingsley who was nervously trying to creat a distance between him and his current date. I wondered what the problem was
