Lucius’ response left Laila aghast, she expected something bad but did not anticipate it would be to that degree, and judging from his mood, Lucius did not anticipate it either. Laila wanted to know everything, down to the last detail but she also did not want to push Lucius to talk because of how troubled he looked; and so, quietly, she sat beside him until he was ready to talk.
A short while of silence passed them by, after, Lucius finally spoke, “It was terrible, never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined that ever happening”
