Sadness they say can sometimes join two parties together. TENDER NOTHING, A story of Austin and Elena. Austin Tucker the second son of Mr. Grayson Tucker the owner of multi billionaire technology company, graduated from Harvard University as the best. His older brother Mathew not so intelligent as Austin, can be greedy, desire everything Austin has, very ambitious and ruthless but not daddy's favorite, Austin lost his little sister right before his eyes to a cold blooded murderer, growing up, he was traumatize by the event that took place when he was just thirteen. Austin met Maya during his final year in the university, she was intelligent, beautiful, kind, gentle, she was everything Austin wanted in a woman, their relationship grew stronger by the day. After their graduation, Austin proposed to Maya which she accepted, but then Mathew always wanted what Austin had, he was so determine to get Maya to be his wife, After series of persuasion, he finally got Maya to his bed, when Austin found out he was so devastated, he loved Maya with all his heart and couldn't let her go but then she became pregnant, Mrs. Anna Tucker mother of the two boys knew how much this baby will shred her two sons away from each other, she badly wanted to stop the unforeseen circumstances that is bound to happen because even Maya couldn't tell who the real father of the baby was, Mrs. Anna took Maya to the hospital to get rid of the baby, there was complications, and Maya died. Austin was devastated beyond imagination, he tried to kill himself severally but was stopped by his best friend Kenneth who stood by Austin during those times, Austin sworn to never ever have anything to do with neither his mom nor brother, he buried himself inside the companies work. After a year of Mr. Grayson's resignation, Austin took over the company, for years he couldn't get over Maya nor the nightmare that came with it until he met Elena. Elena Raven the first daughter of the CEO of RAVEN MAGAZINE, She lost her mother at the age of six, after a year of mourning, Mr. Andrew Raven took in another wife, she gave birth to another daughter for Mr. Raven and slowly the love he had for Elena began to diminish, Elena had to grow on her own with no love from either daddy nor mummy. At twelve years, her step mom Mrs. Clara would take her out at night where series of men would molest her, the trauma that came along with the abuse Elena had to face at such tender age was too much and at the age of fifteen, Elena ran away from home. She began to do odd jobs for people in other to survive and also go to school, it was tough for a young girl on the street but it made Elena stronger and she was able to graduate from college. On a faithful day Elena witnessed a crime scene where a cartel member was shot, she saw the faces of the men that committed murder, she knew they would come for her and ran away but they chased after her, as fate would have it, a car was driving toward her direction, seeing how fast the cartel members were after her, without waiting for the car to stop, she rushed in through the window into the moving vehicle, the driver was surprise and at the same time confuse, he knew she would get hurt if he pushed her out, so instead he helped her into the car only then he realized there were men after her. That was how Austin and Elena met, she pleaded with him to save her life, Austin didn't want to get involve in a feud he knew nothing about but those pleading eyes of hers reminded him of Maya, he took Elena to his home, realizing how fragile she was, he couldn't let her go. But when he found out she was the daughter of the man who killed his beloved sister, their relationship was bound to get complicated or perhaps fate was playing a fast one on them. He employed her to work at the company and as he came to know more about her and how much she has had to endure, his respect for her grew more. Even though they lived in the same house, there was a mutual respect that grew stronger and then somehow turned into feelings, feelings not from loneliness but was earned gradually. History was about to repeat itself when Elena met Mathew, they were close but this time, Austin made sure to cross the line for his brother. It was a hope beyond when Elena became pregnant, Austin sworn to protect her and the baby with his life but there so many obstacles that seems to be on their way but at the end, Elena and her baby became a hope again for Austin, they got married and it was a happy after ever.
