Chapter 16 – My Dad’s Plan

Madison’s POV

I am sitting here in shock about what Jayden just said, and I wander if he is serious or just saying it out of pity. I would love nothing more than to marry Jayden, but I want it to be because he really love me and not because he feels sorry for me. His eyes are telling me that it is love but I need to be sure because I have already suffered so much and cannot bare any more pain. Everything seems genuine and then my dad speaks and everyone is looking at him like they are not trusting the things he is about to say. Truth be told my dad is the reason for all the mess with his old fashion ways, let’s see if he is going to make it right or worse. So the air is thick waiting for him to speak and he is hesitant and I think that has everyone on edge thinking he is not going to do the right thing. Then finally he speaks up.

“Don’t everyone look at me like that I know that I have done wrong in the past trying to make the kids do things they didn’t want too in order to gain status. I tried to make the right matches back then and not all turned out bad. Jayden and Madison was an unfortunate situation that we can fix. We make the announcement that my daughter has returned to the family on Friday and is going to take her rightful place next to the man she is meant to marry. I also announce that the two of them will be taking over as CEO and COO of A & A international inc. New York branches. Ever though living here will be temporary for the both of you. While you are her you can train assistants to step into your rolls when you leave, and they can be managed from the offices in LA just like all our other companies around the world. We cannot be everywhere. This is just a suggestion if the both of you agree.” Dad says.

I look around the room and then look up in Jayden’s eyes to see what he is thinking. He seems to be okay with the idea. I breathe a sigh of relief, because I plan to make the Greene and Jones family pay while I am here. The doctor comes in and tell us that we are free to go home. After taking care of all the formalities, we are released. The ride home is quiet which gives me time to think about everything that has happened. I may not agree with everything my family does, but they are right these people are trying hard to kill me. What did I ever do to make them hate me this much. I don’t mean to defend Aiden because he is an asshole, but I just do not see him being involved in all this. His slut of a mistress is working with her daddy and using Aiden as cover. “Penny for your thoughts.” Jayden says.

I am not sure if I should speak my mind and piss off the man who has been by my side through all my mess. I know he will be angry as hell at me for even giving Aiden the benefit of the doubt. I don’t want to lie to him so I decided to tell him the truth. I look out of the window and sigh. “You can tell me anything Madison I am here to support you no matter what is going on.” Jayden says. I swallow hard before I speak. “It’s just that I don’t believe that Aiden is a part of these attempts on my life. He is definitely a bastard for what he has done to me but to go as far as to try and kill me I am having a hard time believing it.” I say. Jayden is quiet for a moment before he speaks.

“Listen babe I understand that you may love him, but he is not innocent in this Madison, or did you forget he had you cuffed to a bed not to long ago. I agree that it is Maverick that is trying to kill you but what man you know will let people use him in such away. Correct me if I am wrong but didn’t, he call and set up your little meeting today, at the very least he is too stupid to realize they are using him but that still do not mean he deserves your care. He actually put a plan in motion to abduct you from the hospital and the only reason he took you back was because he was scared you were going to die from Anaphylactic shock. He is the reason all this got started in the first place.” Jayden says. I just sigh and look out the window because he is right but he don’t understand I am not protecting the asshole but just stating a fact. I want to be punished but for what he did not his b***h crimes. Then I feel Jayden’s hands on my arm, he takes off my seat belt and pull me in his lap. I have my head down but he makes me look up in his eyes.

“The last thing I want to do is upset you I am suppose to be the person you come to for your peace. Maybe the best way to help you understand what I am feeling is put it another way. You married him because you thought you were in love and he felt the same way. To your surprise through all the drama recently you realize that was not the case. He was sent to you by his father. The whole relationship was a lie from the start. Even if he don’t know who you are he still gained from your kindness. They all have been after there own benefit from day one. All I am saying is don’t give them any more kindness because it’s underserved or wanted. You deserve so much better sweetheart and if you give me a chance to show you, I will not only give you the image of love, but I will also help you feel and live in it for the rest of your life. All I am asking is for a chance to show you what love looks like when it is genuinely from the heart. So, Madison do you think you can give me that chance.” Jayden says. He doesn’t give me a chance to respond before he captures my lips with his. I embrace the kiss and him, he moans and deepens the kiss. One thing for sure is I have never been kissed like that before. He has made my panties wet just from the touch of his hands and lips. We are interrupted by the driver telling us that we have arrived at our destination. Damn what a way to ruin the best wet dream ever wide awake. If Jayden can do this to me by just a simple kiss, I wander what he would be like in the bedroom. He damn sure got the body to pleasure a woman. I think back to all the s****l encounters I had with Aiden. They were not pleasurable at all; he is always fumbling around like he don’t actually know what he is doing. I remembered the first time we had s*x, I had to ask him if he was a virgin like me. It could just be me Sarah the b***h seems to want to brag about him all the time and what he can do. I am brought back out of my thoughts by Jayden opening my door. He reaches out to take my hand. I smile and place my hand in his. “Listen I didn’t mean to upset you on the ride home all I hope for is a fair chance.” He says. I smile and kiss his lips before walking inside the house.
