Chapter 28 – Chloe drugged him

Jayden’s POV

I see that Christian is just as mad as I am, but he always keeps a cooler head during things like this. He is always thinking long term this is what separates us and why he is the leader of both families. I am brought out of my thoughts by a disturbing outburst by Caleb. I knew he was working on pulling up the footage of my house. I never felt comfortable around Chloe, something was always a little off about her. I think my distrust in her started when she went to my parents confessing her love for me and her family asking that we be joined in marriage. I didn’t understand how she could confess her love for me when we barely knew each other. That upset me because other than the occasional hey at parties, we both attended I didn’t know her that well. I had heard a lot of stories about her and the other socialites around us, sleeping around but that’s about it. I hated the fact that my parents fell for her bullshit and forced me into this train wreck of a marriage. For this very reason I had my house under constant surveillance. I just never had a reason to check it until I overheard the conversation that day with her and her father. But obviously Caleb has found something disturbing.

“What did you find Caleb is there any claim to her accusation?” I ask. He stares at us for a moment before he answers. “Yeah, she did exactly what she told you she did, and the most shocking thing is what she did with what appears to be your unconscious body, this b***h is sick. She basically had s*x with you without your consent. I mean the argument could be made that y’all are married so it’s a grey area. At this point we need a blood test or something we can get from her child to perform a DNA test.” Caleb says. Then he tells us that we will go from there with what needs to be done next. He also feels like while me and Madison are here in Hawaii, I find away to tell her. I agree because there is know good ending to starting a marriage with a lie. I take a deep breath because I feel so violated that this whorish ass women took advantage of me. I feel like going in the shower and scrubbing myself clean and it happened a while ago. My stomach turns watching how crazy she is committing the act. I shiver and shake my head. I look up and see the guilty look in our parent's eyes, because of how I got involved with this crazy b***h. Now is not the time for this blame and guilt game. We need to move past that and figure out a solution to get this psycho out of my life for good. Everyone is really shocked about the video so know has spoken a word yet.

“I know right now everyone is outraged about the video that we just saw of what Chloe did to Jayden. But we have to keep a clear mind and try not to act reckless because that will only further her obsession, but it will also make Jayden look bad in the eyes of the public. I have a plan but it is going to take everybody to have a cool head. First thing is to get a private and secret DNA test done of the baby. I called Alex and he said that her parents are keeping the baby. I wander if they even know she is off doing all this foolishness. Alex has sent Jeremiah to the house of her parents to break in while they are sleeping and get a swab and a piece of the baby’s hair for testing. He is going to send it to Sydney for her lab to do an analysis to see if this is Jayden’s baby.” Christian says. “ Why are we stealing a sample when we can just get it all done when Jayden is back?” Sophia ask.

“Well, I feel like she is too confident about the DNA test coming back positive for Jayden to be the father. The only way she can be that confident is if Jayden is the only man she slept with, and we know that is a lie because we have proof of her and the i***t from our accounting department. You know the one that help her steal the money. So, the only way she can be absolutely sure is if she has had help. I think she plans to insist on going to an independent lab instead of using ours and someone there has already been paid off. If you think about it that is just the kind of low down and conniving thing that Maverick would do. I believe without a doubt that he is behind all this, even though we have know idea why he is coming after us so hard, other than he wants to take over the underworld. Madison ruined him and his daughters plan with the Greene’s so the other reason could be simply revenge. At least if we have our own test done first, they cannot fool us because we can be sure her test is going to be in her favor. I refuse to let her ruin Madison and Jayden life; I will kill her first.” Christian says. The look in his eyes tells me he is not joking around with this woman. I am shocked to hear the next voice that rings out behind us.

“Wait so you actually did sleep with this b***h? Where you just lying to me or you really don’t have any memory of the event, I mean it would be hard to miss.” Madison says. The whole family looks as shocked as me that she is standing there, I guess the doctor's medication didn’t work as well as we would have liked it too. I get up and go to get her hand but when I touched her, she jerked away. I sigh because now she thinks that I lied to her but I am also frustrated because she knows me, and she knows I will not lie to her intentionally. “Baby before you get upset please come in and let us explain to you what we just discovered. I don’t deserve for you to just accuse me of lying. Just because that’s what you were used to in your old marriage. Before we said I do you promise me that we would walk through all these doors together or are you changing your mind? Because that is just what Chloe wants is to sow discord between us.” I say.

“Yeah, sis give him the benefit of the doubt, trust him because he is actually innocent.” Christian says. I am great full to the family for there support. She reluctantly comes over and sits in the seat next to me. Caleb then plays the video for her, and you can see the regret and anger in her eyes. She just looks up at me and I smile because I love this woman and can never be angry at her. After we know that she is calm we tell her the plan we came up with, so that we will have the element of surprise. We also tells her that we believe that Maverick is behind all this that is happening. At that moment she tells us why she came in here in the first place. She shows us the text message on her phone. We all read the message in shock. Is someone inside the family betraying us?
