Chapter 27 – What did you do

Third Person POV

In a matter of moments, a gun shot went off and Chloe fell to the ground wincing in pain. “Oh my gosh Madison what did you do?” Jayden said. She just stood there staring off into space. Good thing she only hit her in the leg. “Uhh! Get me some help. I cannot believe that b***h shot me. I am pressing charges against your slut Jayden. What are you going to do when your b***h ends up in jail.” Chloe said through gritted teeth due to her pain. Nobody can believe the audacity of this woman. Even after being shot, she is still arrogant. Tired of her babbling Caleb took the gun out of Madison’s hand and pointed it at Chloe head. In an instant she became noticeably quiet.

“b***h I want miss utter one more word about what you are going to do to Madison, and I want to hesitate to shut off your lights permanently. Do you honestly think we do not have proof of you stalking my brother and Madison. We even have your little threat at the wedding recorded. All our rooms are fitted with cameras so we can show and prove that you initiated the violence. You threaten my brother and his wife in the middle of the night. By the time I am finished with you in court not only will you land yourself behind bars for quite some time, but your family will be living on the streets. Because I plan to sue the hell out of them for compensation for the mental anguish you caused.” Caleb said.

You could tell she was seething in anger because the night didn’t go as planned. At that moment Christian called for the family doctor to come to the suite. He came in and doctored her wound. Everyone turned their attention to Madison who was standing there in the state of shock. Her hands were shaking and the tears were just flowing down her eyes. She really didn’t know what had happened. Jayden also noticed and ran directly to her and gripped her in his arms. At that time all her emotions came pouring out as she buried her face in Jayden’s chest and cried. He scooped her up in his arms and carried her to the bed. After placing her in the bed he called for the doctor to come in and check her pressure. He didn’t want her to pass out again.

The doctor came and took all her vitals and as expected her pressure was to high. To help control the situation the doctor gave Madison some medication to bring her pressure down and something to help her sleep. After making sure she was completely sleeping Jayden got up out the bed and headed back to the living room to talk to Caleb and Christian. To his surprise the whole family had made an appearance. “Son how is Madison doing and what did the doctor say.” Henry ask. “He did indeed say her pressure had risen again and that we needed to keep in mind that she is not over the trauma of being kidnapped and it was going to take sometime for her to heal. She may need to talk to someone to get over what she went through. He gave her medication to help bring her pressure down and to help her sleep. I don’t think she was trying to kill Chloe because she would not miss. We were all trained in weaponry since we were kids. She was just frustrated about everything and wanted to scare Chloe.” Jayden said.

They all take in the information he said and nodded in agreement. “The question is what are we going to do with Chloe.” Jayden said. They all think about it and listen to everyone suggestions. The women feel like they should not kill her because she is a mother, but the men do not necessarily agree with that statement, because they feel like she can become a real threat if she is not taken care of. Jayden stands up and starts to pace back and forth trying to produce a plan to get rid of this b***h. “Will someone stay here with Madison so that I can go and talk to Chloe. I think it is time for me and her to talk about all the evidence that I got against her. She really cannot think that we are not aware of everything she did to me while we were married. Caleb, please pull up the footage in my house for me around the time she said tonight that I slept with her. I plan to let her know the price of f*****g with my family. If she does not get the hint when I am through with her, I want give a damn about her kid because I will kill her myself.” Jayden says.

The family stare at him in disbelief. They know Jayden has a love for Madison that maybe clouding his judgment but they are trying to think of ways to calm him down, but they know they need to leave him alone at this point. Charles Anderson decided to speak up and try to reason with Jayden. He looks at his son Christian and see he is in the same situation, he loves his sister and she was never suppose to get her hands dirty but here they are with Madison pulling the trigger. “Ok maybe we are all stressed just a little and need to sleep on it so that we can have a clear mind in the morning.” He says.

“I think that maybe when the family leave tomorrow, we put Chloe on the plane with us and take her back to LA. At least we can monitor her movements since we know she poses an actual threat. I am all for putting a bullet in her Jayden because I don’t believe she is going to leave y’all alone. She has a goal, and it seems that she don’t plan to stop until she gets what she wants. We also need to think of what Madison said before we left New York. Remember she said that the only reason Chloe would come back after being gone for so long is if she had another benefactor. I believe that to be true because we know her family has no money. They are barely keeping the company running after my attack on them. Someone sent her to follow us here to try and break up Jayden and Madison. I believe it is Maverick but what I don’t understand is what he will gain by breaking up Jayden and Madison.” Christian said. Jayden finally look up at Christian and realize he is right. What is the end game.

So Caleb decide to pull up the footage inside his house during the time he and Chloe was married. He wanted to see if there was actually a claim to what Chloe said, and the result is not good. She did indeed sprinkle a white substance over his food that the maid left for him that night. Caleb is caught in a dilemma because as the video further plays what he sees next makes his stomach drop. “What the actual f**k this woman is really crazy.” Caleb says. Everyone head snap up towards him waiting for him to tell them what he found.
