Chapter 31 – Chloe is gone

Third Person POV

Alex gets to the room and see that Chloe is no longer tied to the chair, but she has managed to escape the hotel. Alex calls Carlos the head of the family security to make him aware of the situation. “Carlos if you still have eyes on Jordan don’t let him out of your sight because Chloe is gone and I don’t know how long she has been missing.” Alex said. Carlos is pissed off, so he goes and whispers in Charles ear that their suspicions about Jordon are right because Chloe is missing. “Damn it! Take him into custody at once.” Charles yells. Jordon knows they are talking about him and thinks he can get away because it appears no one else know except Carlos, but to his surprise when he tries to run Karl close line him and he falls to the ground, and then they zip tied his hands. He looks up and sees Karl smiling at him. “You should have been more careful asshole me and Alex always had eyes on you. The problem is y’all keep underestimating my boss. Just because she seems like the weakest link, she is actual very well trained. Why do people keep forgetting that she had the same training before she left the family. You were an i***t and now you will pay because you infiltrated the family and put the princesses at risk. If I were you, I would tell them the truth when they ask, and you might be showed some grace.” Karl said. After that they drug him away.

“What the hell just happened?” Christian asks. So, his dad decided to explain to him Madison’s suspicions earlier and told him how she knew who he was. Then he alerted the others of why Jayden and Madison disappeared because he refuses to put the daughter he just got back in danger. Christian is angry that they keep him out of the loop considering he is the head of the family. So, Charles had to explain that it was not their intention, they just wanted to check and see if Chloe was still locked up. Christian understood but decided to call the pilot because he felt it was time for his family to get out of there as soon as possible. They all agreed and decided to get Jayden and Madison and leave the resort. For now, it is safer for them to be home. Christian also made a call to the guard in charge while they were all here to tell him to check the grounds and make sure there is no surprises waiting for them at home.

Madison grabs her bags, but Jayden stops her hands and grab them for her. “What do you think your doing Mrs. Adams? Taking your bags are my pleasure my lady. I know it seems like the wrong time to joke but I want to lighten your mood. Baby I love you and want nothing more than to make you happy and comfortable. I know we have gotten off to a rough start because of all the drama but I want you to heal and then step up and claim your place in the business world. You deserve to make the ones that doubted you fall at your feet. I plan to make that possible for you. I am going to get Christian to change your number again and before you can fuss, I want you to live in peace. I do not want them to have access to harass you. You deserve some privacy, and they are not worthy of your attention.” Jayden said.

She smiled because she was aware of how protective he can be. The family boarded the plane and headed back to LA. The family settled in for their five hour flight. What they didn’t know was someone was standing in the shadows watching them leave Hawaii. Chloe put on her shades and headed to the other side of the airport in order to board her flight. She was headed back to LA because Jordan already told her that the family was heading home. She has plans to get her husband back. She is angry that he never gave their marriage a chance to work. Because he could never get over the b***h. On her way to wait for her flight her phone rings. She looks down to see who was calling her and rolled her eyes when she saw it was Sarah calling but answered anyway since they are the ones that is paying for her to chase after Jayden and get him back. “Hello, Sarah how are you doing?” Chloe said. “Did you just ask me how I was doing? I am horrible you were supposed to stop the marriage. I thought you understood the assignment, but you and my cousin Jordan were useless. He is not answering his phone, and you act as if you do not have a care in the world. So let me be frank we need to see some results soon because the union of those two families is bad. My father wants to take over and push them out not make them stronger. You told us you could handle it but obviously it was a mistake to trust you. You better find away to break the two of them up. If I had known who the b***h really was, I would have never broken her and Aiden up. I would have at least waited until he inherited little Mrs. Perfect property. I could have stayed a mistress and continued to steal from him.” Sarah said. “I understand that is why I am getting ready to board a plane headed back to LA now. The whole family is headed back, because your stupid husband called her confessing his love for her and wanting her back. Then I watched as they drug Jordan away in zip ties, so yeah, he got caught. From what I know of that family he is just as good as dead. They have a rule about people that infiltrate their families to pay by death. They show no mercy.

I should only be a couple of hours behind them, plus I still have access to my husband penthouse. So, if the b***h is there it will be easy to get rid of her.” Chloe said.

Sarah screams because she can not believe her stupid cousin got caught. She wanders how it happened because Jordan is so clever. He volunteered for the job because he had a vendetta to settle with Madison. He would not tell the family what, but he hates her very much. All they can do now is hope he do not tell what is going on. “Ok well you better do what you need to do. Find out what ever you can about Jordan and inform me immediately. That will just be one more thing to hate this family for if they kill him.” Sarah says.

She does not give Chloe a chance to say anything further because she cut the call abruptly. What Sarah did not know was that some one was standing in the hallway listening to everything she said and all the plans she had from beginning to end. Now the question is what they will do to her for all the deception.
