Chapter 52 – Call from Clara
Aiden’s POV “Hello!” I answer the phone but places it on speakerphone. I noticed that the family is doing the same thing they did when my sisters phone rang. I can hear my mom talking to someone in the background, but she must have placed her hand over the phone because the voices sound muffled. Wow don’t she know how to use a phone properly she could just mute the phone. I cannot believe that it took me this long to realize she was using me. I glance at my dad, and he has the look of disdain on his face. I can’t blame him because he has done all he could for his family. I feel like a bad son and responsible for his heart attack. He put so much effort into securing the future and I blew it up letting this b***h manipulate me. I need to talk to my brother tonight I want to know how he feel
