Chapter 10 – Attack

Third Person POV

There is someone hiding in the shadows as Madison and Jayden left the restaurant. He is angry because of the disrespect that he and his daughter was shown in the restaurant. So, he is out for revenge. “Boss they are just leaving the restaurant now, what are your orders.” The guy says on the phone. “Take care of the two of them and make it messy I owe Charles and Henry for what they did to me years ago. They stopped my trafficking because they wanted to run the mafia a separate way. That is why I had to resort to hide my smuggling using other methods. This will let them know who I really am.” Maverick says. He is waiting and watching for his guys to take action.

Leaving the restaurant Jayden turn to ask Madison. “Where do you want to go now Madison or are you tired and ready to go home.” He asks. Madison turns to look at him and smile and then turn to stare back out the window where she notices cars following them at a fast speed. “Let us just go home Jayden, something feels off to me. Do you see those few sedans following the SUV’s the guards are in.” Madison says. “Yes, they have been following us since we left the restaurant. Do not worry we are prepared for this, and our brothers should not be far with our men.” He said, The phone rings and he answers it on the car speaker and at once says. “Hey Christian where are you and Caleb we got company, and I do not want Madison to get hurt even though she has been trained too we do not want her to show her identity just yet. There are still a few days to go before the announcement.” Jayden says.

The cars that are following them speed up and try to pass the guards. That’s when Caleb yells through the speaker phone speed up now Jayden and make a sharp u-turn and get up on the highway and head home we will handle the rest. Jayden then speeds up and does a U-turn in the middle of the road racing to get up on the highway. As the cars try to follow they are blocked and at that moment our people get out the car and began to fire on their vehicles. They have put their vehicles in reverse to get out oh there alive. Maverick Jones is sitting in his car not to far a way watching the scene unfold hitting the steering wheel angry. His plan did not work so he heads home pissed off. He is going to get rid of that b***h and those Anderson and Adam boys and take over the underworld. He craves money and power and will stop at nothing to get it.

At that moment when Maverick arrives at home he gets a call from a unknown number but he answers it anyway. “Well, well, Mr. Jones did you really think we would not be watching your every move, now let me give you a piece of advice. I am not my father, and I will not hesitate to put a bullet in your head and the head of that slut you call a daughter. Trust me I owe her for drugging me years ago. I do not think the world will miss you at all. Old man this is your final and last warning. Stay the hell away from my family.” Christian says. “Who the hell do you think you are to threaten me and for such a worthless b***h. She has done too much to my daughter, and I will not let it go. So if you do not interfere in my plans for that b***h, then I will not involve your family.” Maverick yells. “I said what I said Maverick, tonight was just a taste of what you are up against the next time I want hesitate to kill each and every man you have, and just in case you take what I am saying lightly watch the show I put on next.” Christian says as he hangs up the phone. He does not give Maverick a chance to rebut what he said. Maverick is angry now and he throws the glass he is drinking across the room with it crashing against the wall. Sarah comes rushing in too see what is going. “Dad what happened why are you mad?” Sarah ask. He explains to his daughter how there plans tonight did not go as plan, because the Anderson and Adams brothers intervened and stopped the plan.

“Dad what is going on why is that family getting involved with such a low life like Madison. I know that Jayden’s parents cannot know that she is trying to worm her way into their family. Dad we must put a stop to this gold-digging w***e she is going to ruin everything we have worked so hard for. If she gets involved with a man as powerful as Jayden she will try to stop all our plans. I know she will try to stop the deal we got going this Friday and we absolutely cannot let anything interfere with the deal. It is already bad enough that I have to deal with William Greene and his insults. Aiden got a call when we left the restaurant that his dad is free to go home tomorrow. Now this jackass wants to bring his family to live with us so that he can look after his dad.” Sarah says. The father and daughter share a look deep in thought on how to fix their current predicament. When her father first approached her about this plan she was only supposed to seduce Aiden break up his marriage and then get him to marry her so that it would be easier for her to steal company funds. Then they had to act fast because the b***h got pregnant for him. So Sarah had to get Aiden to throw her out for her baby before the b***h had a chance to tell him she was pregnant. She just didn’t expect things to get physical and Madison to lose the baby but that’s life. She thought that was the end of dear old Madison and she would go some where and hide under a rock because she was distraught but instead this b***h is still hanging around and threatening everything me and daddy have worked for, well that is not going to happen because I will kill that b***h myself.

In an estate on the outskirts of town Christian picks up his phone and make a call to the guys he has watching Maverick warehouses. “Hey take out one of Maverick’s warehouse. Then get out of there and tell the other team to leave his other warehouse. Go home and get some rest for the night. Come find me tomorrow and let me know how it went.”Christian says. About an hour later he received a text message when he opened it he smiled. “Boss the job is done there is nothing left. We decided to take out his biggest warehouse, we are going in for the night boss.” The text said. At that same time one of Maverick men call him to inform him his warehouse just blew up. “What!” Maverick screams.
