Jared heard the doorbell and opened the door to see his beautiful assistant Donna standing before him looking very seductive. “I saw your fiancé leaving for work,” she said, teasing him as her fingers grazed his chest. “Donna, I told you not to come here. Someone will see you and tell Reyanna,” he said, scolding her. “So? I’m your administrative assistant. I came to attend to all your needs,” she said seductively while caressing his freshly shaven jaw. Jared looked around to make sure no one saw her and pulled her quickly inside. Once inside, she started undressing him as he kissed her with passion. Jared did not love Donna, he loved Reyanna, but Donna was a temptation that was hard to resist. He needed to break it off with her soon before he and Reyanna were married, but right now the temptation was too great, he thought as she pulled him into Reyannas bedroom. “Let’s go to my room, Donna, this is Reyannas room. She will smell your perfume,” he said. But Donna pulled him into Reyannas room despite his protests. Reyanna had moved into his apartment a month ago to share their expenses and save money, but she would not allow him to share her bed until they were married. Otherwise, he would have broken up with Donna months ago. After today he would find a way, though, he decided. His fiancé was too good to him for him do her wrong, Jared thought. But Donna threw him down on the bed and made him forget about her for now. Ben rushed into the coffee shop and frowned because he had hoped to get his coffee and get to the office early today, but it was packed inside and through the drive through as well. He couldn’t help but notice the cute nurse standing ahead of him in her scrubs and North Face jacket. Her hair smelled wonderful and he couldn’t help but breathe in her aroma of green apple and coconut. Light shined through the door from outside and picked up the highlights in her chestnut brown hair. She had it pulled up in a pony tail and he thought the little tendrils that fell around her soft white neck was very sexy. He grinned at the cute face she made at her frustration of being late for work. Ben moved to the side trying to see her name on her badge and she looked up at him curiously with big brown eyes. He smiled at her. “I was just trying to see your name. Sorry for getting in your space,” he said, embarrassed that she had caught him looking at her chest. “It’s Reyanna,” she said, smiling. She repositioned her purse and shook his hand. To his disappointment, he saw a diamond on her left ring finger. “Ben”, he said, smiling as he took her hand in his. He felt electricity at the touch. Reyanna was mesmerized by his looks. Ben had dark brown hair and heavily lashed deep set dark brown eyes. His skin was tanned and his jaw sculpted. With broad shoulders and big strong hands, he seemed very well built. He seemed to be Italian or Greek or of some Mediterranean descent. Reyanna thought he looked stunning in his business suit and black coat, and she could not help but notice the intoxicating scent of his expensive cologne. Suddenly she realized she was staring at the man and she mentally scolded herself because she was an engaged woman. Her face turned red with embarrassment. He smiled at her when he realized she was checking him out. Reyanna was next in line. “Mocha Caramel Macchiato and egg muffin with mayo,” she told the barista. She moved aside so Ben could make his order. “Just a coffee with 2 creams and a chocolate iced donut,” Ben told him. They both waited on their orders. “My dad is in the hospital where you work. He had a stroke. It was a bad one but they say he’s made great progress,” Ben told Reyanna. “Oh yeah? What’s his name? Maybe I’ve taken care of him. I work on the stroke unit,” she told him. “Avery Worthington,” Ben said. Reyannas eyes widened and she smiled. “I know him! He’s the sweetest man. And he is doing great. With the right therapy he could get better quickly because he is determined,” she said. Ben was very excited that she was his dads nurse because that is where he was going. He had hopes of seeing her and talking to her again even if she was engaged to someone. “Number 7 $8.50”,the barista called out. Reyanna tried to balance her coffee, her sandwich and her purse while fumbling for her money in her pocket. In doing so, the lid popped off her coffee and the hot liquid splashed on her uniform. Ben quickly grabbed the cup of hot coffee to keep it from burning her. He burned his hand slightly but he was not bothered by that as long as she was okay. The annoyed barista called out her amount due again with frustration. Ben tapped his card and paid for both their orders as she tried to dry the coffee off her top. Reyanna looked up and gratefully thanked him for paying for her order. “Can you sit and have breakfast with me?” He asked. “Thanks but I’ve got to go home and change,” she said, rushing to leave. “Thanks again, Ben,” she said looking back at him and offering a smile. Pulling in front of the apartment, Reyanna put the key in the lock and ran inside. Jared should have already been gone, but she heard voices and they were coming from her room! With confusion what was going on, she opened her bedroom door to find Jared and his personal assistant in her bed! Jared threw Donna off him and sat up in bed, shocked to see his fiancée standing there with deep feelings of hurt visible on her face. “Reyanna!” He cried out. “Honey I’m sorry,” he said, pulling on his pants. “In MY bed, Jared? Really?”Reyanna asked with tears staining her face. Donna smiled at her defiantly, happy that now she could have Jared to herself. He tried to touch Reyannas arm to keep her from grabbing the duffle bag she had quickly stuffed with clothing but she hauled back and slapped him with all her strength. He grabbed his face that was now red with tears in his eyes. “I never meant to hurt you. I love you, Reyanna,” Jared said honestly. “I’ll be back to get the rest of my things when you are not here,” she said, swallowing back tears. “Here, you can have this,” Reyanna said, throwing her engagement ring at Donna who caught it in the air. Ben could not get the cute nurse out of his mind. He realized she was engaged, but he hoped he would get the opportunity to talk to her again. He hadn’t missed the dimples in her cheeks and how beautiful her big brown eyes were when she smiled. He hoped that she would be taking care of his dad today. Instead of going to the office, Ben decided to go in and see his dad first, secretly hoping to see Reyanna as well.
