Chapter three

Michael slept outside the door till morning cause his cousin's sister did not come back home last night.

Its morning already and Michael was still asleep outside the door, his neighbor who was going to work saw him and was shocked. When she walked closer and saw that it was really Micheal, she said to herself. "Why would Michael be sleeping outside the door? no... don't tell me he slept outside or, did his sister lock him out?" She asked herself. "Michael!! wake up. It's morning already, Michael... Michael!! wake up, it's morning already"

Michael woke up and was shocked. He did not know he slept outside the door he thought he was inside the house already. Michael asked the woman "sorry ma did I sleep here all through like is this where I passed my night?"

" Yes, I think so, cause this is where I found you sleeping while I was stepping out for work." The woman answered.

" Oh my God, so this is where I slept last night," Michael said.

While Michael and the woman were talking his cousin Catherine came in happily singing and walking towards them. "Good morning, what's going on here?" She asked as she got to them.

" Madam!! what does it look like? silly human being.".The woman answered her.

Catherine quickly replied her back "Hey madam! why call me silly hun, why the insult? what did I do to you this early morning?"

"You want to know why? Do you want to know what you did this early morning? How can you allow your brother to sleep here for the whole night? What kind of a sister are you?" The woman said to catherine.

While Michael's cousin Catherine and the woman were exchanging words, Michael tried to come in between to stop them but he couldn't.

Catherine said to the woman "so because of my brother I should not live my life abi? I should not go out cause of my brother? My life should revolve around him Nah... Please madam, mid your business. How I treat my useless brother is none of your business."

When Catherine finished talking, the woman hissed and said, "I can't waste my morning on you. It is obvious that you are a time-waster. I just pity this boy that is so unfortunate to be staying with you." She said and walked away.

Michael who was running late for class didn't know what to do. His sister was still shouting at the woman who had walked away from them. He didn't have the mind to tell her that he wants to enter the house to bathe and have a change of clothes. He waited for a while and finally managed to say, "Sis please stop...please I need to go and freshen up I'm running late for class".

Michael thought his cousin will hear him out not knowing she was about to face him. "And you Michael you've seen what you have cause right?, you let people insult me because of you ehm, who do you think you are because I let you live with me abi? Catherine said to Michael angrily.

"Sis I'm sorry I need to freshen for class this morning please " Michael replied to her.

"Shut up!! f**k you and f**k that class you fool, what do you mean by class I'm talking to you and you are telling me nonsense hun, so what I said doesn't have any meaning to you right? Oh my God " Catherine replied Michael immediately with anger.

"I don't mean it that way I'm sorry" Michael replied to her.

"Will you shut up?" immediately she replied him angrily. She then went straight to the door and open up.

Michael knew he was already late for class and with what the time was saying, he had less than five minutes sitest ready. After his cousin has opened the door he rushed straight to the bathroom and get himself freshened up dressed up, and ran straight to the door on getting to the door his cousin Catherine called him back " Michael stop there why are you running what's up with you hun".

Michael stopped and replied her "sis please I'm late to class already I wanna try to meet up".

Catherine replied him " you are late already why not stay at home then since you are late nonsense, look what I wanna tell you is, I will drop key inside one of the shoes outside the door so when you come back you take the key there and make sure you wash those dirty cloth I kept inside basket ok!!.''

Michael looked at her and shook his head but there was nothing he could do but to reply "yes" so while Michael was going out of the door his cousin shouted: " won't you eat something before going?"

Michael was running as fast as possible to see if he could meet up with the class. on his way to school, he stopped a bike man and he entered without checking himself if he got any money with him. While riding down to school he got to the school bus stop where the bike man will drop him off. They stop and Michael came down to pay the bike man. when he put his hand inside his right pocket he couldn't bring any money out there, he put his hand in his left pocket but he could not bring out the money he put his hands in his two back pockets he could not bring out any money he started asking himself what happen why is money not in his picket what did he use the money to do or did anyone steal money from his pocket, at that moment Michael was confused that he did not get himself.

While Michael was asking himself questions looking up and down checking his pocket, again and again, to see if he can bring out money to pay the bike man, unfortunately, it become obvious to the bike man and he asked "hey young man my bike money please I need to get back to work please" while the bike man was asking for his bike money Michael don't know what to tell him looked at him to talk to him but he couldn't what will the bike man say what will happen to him if he tells the bike money his not with money.

While Michael was thinking about what to do like how is he gonna do it the bike man asked him again "man where is my money I need my money and I need to get back to work hello hello"

While the bike man was asking Michael his money Michael was confused and shivering already, the bike man who is already losing patient saw the way he was doing and was like what's wrong with thisthean is he crazy he went close to him
