Grass to grace

Chapter one

""Get out of my sight you useless child. I don't want to know what happened at your school. You are useless!"

Michael woke up from this same dream that he never seems to get over. These are the kind of words his mom and dad will always say to him when he was younger.

At 18 and in music school, he has stopped doing things for approval. He decided to move on with his life without looking back.

Michael's parents wanted him to study law but he didn't want that, so he said to himself I want to be a musician and I want to study music and graduate as a first-class in music.

Michael happens to be the worst student who knows nothing about music but loves music so much. Michael knew he has a lot to do for him to succeed in his ambition.

Michael's first day in class.....

It Monday Michael woke up very early cause it's his first day going to music class so he wanted to be the first to be in class before any other students came in.

While going to class he was kinda wondering and imaging how his class will look like and what will be inside the class. will he meet the good student in there or bad ones will they love him or hate him, will they welcome him or chase him out of the class. His mind was troubled with a lot but he knew he was gonna go through a lot.

On his way to his classroom while a lot was going through in his mind he met a lot of students also going to class early.

He said to himself should I ask one of them how does it look like being in class for the first time maybe he can get a clue of how it looks like but he could not summon the courage to ask or even talk to any student at the moment. so he walked down his classroom, on get-tong there it happened to be as he has planed he was the first in class after entering his class he was confused asking himself where to sit front or back. Micheal doesn't know where to sit also don't want to sit on another student sit, so he remembers back then in secondary school anyone new in his class back then sits at the back sit so Michael decided to go to the back ait and sat down expecting other students to come in and also the lecture. While waiting three students came in and saw Michael sitting on their sit and they were like who is this why is he sitting on our sit one of them said I have never seen him before and the third one said maybe he's a new student.

While the three of them are talking they walked towards Michael, one of them tried to chase Michael away in a rude manner while the second one said: "stop" let's not be harsh to him and he said, "hi, I'm James, this is Andrew and Paul" he introduced.

Michael looked at them all and said, "I am Micheal"

James nodded his head and said, "don't mind Paul's attitude. It's just that you are on our seat and sometimes, he gets aggressive."

"Oh, sorry about that I didn't know it was taken," Michael answered them. He then stood up and moved to another seat.

While sitting more students began to come in talking to each other somewhere singing different kinda songs, the class become noisy, Michael don't know what to do but to sit and watch them.

Two students singing walked down to their seats on getting there they met someone seating there. The first one said, "I guess you are new in this class cause I haven't seen you here before and beside you are on our seat." The second one said, " are you new to this class?"

"Yes," Michael answered.

The first one then said "I'm Peter" while the second one also said, "am Rose welcome to music class."

"Michael thanks. Michael answered.

" Peter said to him you can sit with us here you are free ok.

"Rose asked him a question, can you sing do you play any instrument may be a keyboard, guitar, drum, any instrument?

" No". Michael answered.

"Peter said " huh" seriously

"Yes". Michael answered.

Rose then said," why are you in music class since you don't know music, you don't know how to sing or even play an instrument, guy you have a long way to go."

Paul from the other seat laughed and said "dude doesn't know music but he is in music class" and the whole students in class laughed "hahahaa" except Peter and Rose.

Rose said to the student while they were laughing at what paul said" you all should keep quiet!! "

Immediately after Rose told the class to be quiet the lecturer entered the class and they all great"good morning sir"

"Good morning" the lecturer answered.

While answering the class he look at them all and found out that there is a new student in the class and he ask him to stand up and introduce himself.

Michael stood up and said, " my name is Michael am new to this music class."

The lecturer then said, "welcome to music class I wish you good luck I hope you enjoy doing good music after leaving this class".

After the class, while going out of the class Peter and Rose walked with Michael talking to each other as they get to where they will all depart to their various home.

Michael then said to them " thanks for today thanks for accepting me I'm very grateful."

And they both said to him "you are welcome".

Rose then said to him " we are friends now so we should be able to help each other now that we are friends"

Peter also said "yes we should also have each other contact so that we can get intact with each other. Maybe go out have some fun watching movies together, guys what do you think"?

And they both said, "that's cool".

After then they said bye to each other and left to their various home. "
