Bab 01:Reincarnation
The air was stifling, thick with the smell of rusting iron that filled the pitch-black underground chamber. In the damp, freezing corner of the room, a man lay motionless, his body covered in wounds. Dried blood peeled from his cheeks—the marks of torture he had endured for days… perhaps weeks.
The iron cage that imprisoned him was coated with an anti-magic barrier, sealing away his power. He was no more than an ordinary human now—a hero who had lost everything.
“Haha… Look at you now.”
A heavy voice echoed throughout the chamber, accompanied by firm footsteps approaching. From the darkness emerged a man in a long coat, his face hidden behind a black metal mask engraved with the number VII.
“You… the hero… the savior of humanity from the Tower of Doom… And now you’re nothing more than a dog in a cage.”
The man inside the cage glared at him with hatred burning in his eyes. “You… Seven… I knew you betrayed us. But to do this to your own comrade…”
“Comrade?” The masked man laughed, pressing a button on his technological glove. Electricity surged through the hero’s body.
“AAARRGH!!”
Seven stepped closer. “Comrades do not stand in the way of evolution’s destiny. But you… you rejected my offer. You refused to become a god alongside us. And this… is the consequence.”
The hero coughed violently, fresh blood dripping from the corner of his lips. “You… will… pay… for everything…”
Seven pulled out a black pistol from beneath his coat. “No. You’re the one who will pay… with your life.”
Bang! Bang!
Two bullets pierced the hero’s chest.
“Y–you… tra–”
His eyes widened before slowly closing. His heart stopped. His final breath escaped softly.
But death was not the end…

Darkness. Cold. Emptiness.
That was the first thing he felt. Yet within that void, he gradually sensed… lightness. As if his body had vanished, leaving behind only pure consciousness.
As he tried to comprehend his existence, a gentle light appeared before him—blinding yet warm. From within the light stepped a figure in white robes. Its eyes were unseen, yet its presence radiated calm authority.
“You were not meant to die.”
“But the Tower of Doom system made a fatal error. Your death came too soon.”
The hero’s consciousness—his soul—spoke.
“Who… are you?”
“I am the Creator of the Tower. The system you used… was part of my creation.”
“And because your death was a fatal error of my system, I will grant you a chance.”
“Five wishes. Anything. Before you are reborn.”
The man fell silent for a moment. Memories of his former world flashed through his mind. Fallen comrades. A broken world. And himself—unable to protect it.
Then he spoke:
“I want to reincarnate into another world. Any world.”
“I want a system as powerful as the Tower of Doom.”
“I want unlimited system points. Without limit.”
“I want to retain all my memories as a human.”
“And lastly… I want the Angel Wings laboratory, where humans were turned into experiments, to never exist in any universe.”
The Creator of the Tower nodded.
“Your wishes are accepted. You will reincarnate in a world called Soul Land.”
“A world of spirits, power, and destiny.”
“Soul Land… that n*********d?” the man muttered in shock. “You’re serious?”
“You will see for yourself. May fortune favor you, Xing Long.”
That name—Xing Long—echoed as white light swallowed his soul.

In the heart of the Star Dou Forest, clouds gathered as lightning split the sky. A brilliant light descended from above, piercing through the night and landing softly upon the earth.
From that light, the body of a baby boy formed—naked, tiny, and crying loudly.
“Oaaah… oaaah…”
Among the trees, a woman with long silver hair and pointed ears walked gracefully, searching for rare herbs. She wore a flowing white dress embroidered with gold. Her sharp ears twitched as she heard the baby’s cry.
“Eh? What was that…?”
In a blink, she leapt between the trees and arrived at the source.
Her eyes widened. “A baby?”
She knelt down and gently lifted him. “Oh my… where did you come from, little one? There’s no human aura nearby… Don’t tell me you fell from the sky?”
The baby continued crying. The woman cradled him tenderly and patted his back softly.
“Shh… it’s alright… I’ll protect you.”
The crying gradually subsided. The baby opened his eyes—clear as an untouched sky. Within his mind, he spoke:
‘System. Are you there?’

A few hours later, they arrived at a magnificent structure hidden behind thick mist. White pillars stood tall within a garden of spiritual flowers, warm energy flowing through the air.
“This is my home, little one…”
“Ga… gu?”
“Hihi, are you asking, ‘Is this your home?’ Yes, it is.”
She pinched his cheek playfully. “You’re so adorable…”
After entering, she placed the baby on a soft bed.
“Oh right… you don’t have a name yet, do you?”
The baby blinked.
“How about… Xing Long? It means ‘Rising Dragon.’ Because one day, I want you to soar beyond the heavens.”
The baby smiled brightly, making Yin Hu laugh joyfully.
“In that case… from now on, call me Mother. Understand? Mo–ther.”
“Mo… ther…”
“Eh? You can talk?!”
“Mother!”
“HAHA! Oh my goodness! What a smart baby!”
Yin Hu hugged him tightly, her eyes misty. “At last… I have a child…”

Five Years Later —
Time passed. In the grand house hidden deep within the forest, a five-year-old boy ran inside carrying a basket of fruit.
“Mother! I’m back!”
Yin Hu turned toward him. “Finished playing, dear?”
“Yes! Look, I picked Blue Fire Peaches, just like you like!”
“Oh, my sweet child… you’re amazing!”
They ate together with laughter and warmth, like a mother and son inseparable from one another.
But that day was different…
The once-clear sky suddenly darkened. Lightning flashed, and fierce winds blew from the east.
Xing Long looked up. “Mother… the weather feels strange…”
Yin Hu stood up, her expression turning serious. “Something is wrong…”
The sky above the Star Dou Forest grew darker still. Black clouds spiraled overhead, as if the world itself trembled at what was about to awaken from the depths of fate.
“Arghhh… Mother! It h-hurts… arghhh!!” Xing Long screamed, clutching his chest.
Yin Hu rushed to him in panic. “Xing Long! Xing Long! What’s wrong, my child?!”
His small body began emitting a golden-purple light. The air vibrated violently. Spirit energy erupted from within him—wild and uncontrollable. Stones lifted from the ground, leaves were blown away, and nearby spirit beasts fled in fear.
“That’s impossible…” Yin Hu whispered in shock. “This… this isn’t a normal spirit awakening!”
[Ding! Answering Master. Your Guardian Spirits are in the process of awakening. The system has stabilized the synchronization process.]
Before Xing Long, two faint silhouettes appeared in midair.
The first resembled a seven-layered golden lotus pagoda, floating gently within holy light. It radiated deep tranquility… yet restrained power.
The second was far more terrifying. A massive black dragon silhouette slowly emerged behind Xing Long’s small body. Its long body shimmered like dark metal, and its crimson eyes burned like newly ignited embers. The dragon coiled in the sky—only partially manifested—yet its presence shook the very space around them.
Yin Hu collapsed to her knees. “That… the Pagoda Lotus… and… a dragon… The Ancient Dark Dragon?! No… how could a human—”
Meanwhile, Xing Long struggled against the overwhelming pain, though his body gradually adapted to the waves of power merging with his soul.
Two guardian spirits—symbols of light and darkness, healing and destruction—circled around his tiny frame.
Amid the chaos, Xing Long slowly opened his eyes and muttered weakly, sweat dripping from his brow:
“Wa… wait… wasn’t this supposed to awaken… when I turned six?”
To be continued…
