Chapter 6: Lightning Arrow

"Let's play team sky wars so we can be a team while battling opponents and protecting each other," he laughs. Sky wars as a team? That's a game I've never heard of before. "What exactly is that game?" I inquired. "There are 12 participants in all, divided into four teams. Each team consists of three players. The objective is to eliminate the other team's other members, "she clarified. "That's a terrific idea because we can play together as a team and dominate the game!" Yuu exclaimed, putting her arms around Saki and myself. "So, why is it called Sky Wars?" I inquired. "It's called sky wars because we'll fight in the sky," he explained, his expression filled with excitement. We'll play a team survival game called Team Sky Wars, which is a battle above the ground.

Above the ground, there will be a war. I'm not sure if I should be more confident because Saki and Yuu will defend me. I'm not sure if I should be concerned about the heights, but I believe I'll be alright because when I respawned in this land, I seemed at ease with the sky. "Let's go!"  Yuu remarked this as he led mine and Saki's hands to the portal. We are taken to the gaming lobby when we enter the Team Sky Wars portal. The other guys are huge and strong, and I get the impression that they've done a lot of killing. I started to get shivers, and everyone around me began to laugh and stare at me.

"Are you new to this game?" the guy laughed and inquired. I didn't respond to his inquiries. If I answer their questions, I'm sure they'll bully me. "Hey, our squad is new to this game," Yuu explained, "so please be nice to us." While saying such remarks, he smirked. Yuu exudes confidence and doesn't appear to be afraid in the least. Saki is simply sitting on a stone, waiting for the countdown to end and the game to begin. The game will begin in three seconds. "3... 2.... 1..." we begin to fade away and transfer to the islands.

In the skies, there are 12 little islands, each containing one player. In the middle, there is a larger island that is surrounded by the 12 islands. Every teammate's island is right next to one another. I can see my teammates and foes because the distance between the islands is only about 5 meters. They are all staring at me as if I am their prey and they are the predators. The host begins by explaining the rules, saying, "Dear Players, welcome to Team Sky Wars! There are 12 islands in all, each with one player. Each island has three chests that contain armor, weapons, and blocks that you can use. To travel to another island, use blocks! Eliminate all of your opponents until your team is the only one left! Best of luck to everyone! It's either kill or be killed! "

The game begins, and we are free to wander around the island to which we have been assigned at random. I unlock a chest and discover a leather helmet that I can put on. Iron boots, golden pants, and chain armor were also found. All of the armor that I acquired is worn by myself. I was fortunate enough to come across a stone sword that I could use as a weapon. This, I believe, will be sufficient for combat. I added some blocks to my inventory so that I could move to another island with them. I'm amazed that no matter how many things I carry, they don't appear to be heavy at all, and they're all in my virtual pocket, ready to use whenever I need them, and they materialize in my hand when I think of utilizing them.

I retain my stone blade in my right hand and begin to scan the area around me. I'm so slow that I missed the fact that my island already had two enemies. They greet me with, "Hello, noob boy." I started running, but I noticed Saki was just a short distance away on the island that was left to mine. Saki dashes over to me. Instead of utilizing blocks to get close to me, she simply jumps and lands on my island. Amazing! She can jump extremely high and for a long time! "Don't simply stand there, stupid!" Saki yelled. I'm powerless to do anything. Saki begins fighting the two foes. Saki moves like a ninja, and the opponent has no chance of scratching her. She kicks the other guy's leg as her other leg kicks the other guy's face.

The other guy was unable to stand, but he could still stand Saki. She advances quickly as she tries to strike the guy in the nape with her iron axe. The blood starts to splash on Saki's armor after she slashes the guy's nape. The other guy on the ground begs Saki not to murder him. "Please! Please forgive me! I don't want to die once more! Please halt! "The guy screamed. Saki slowly slices the man's throat, as though she wants him to suffer. Saki appears unconcerned with the man's begging, crying, and yelling. Yuu arrives on my island and uses one s***h of your gold sword to cut the guy's head off. "Hey, don't be such a callous lady; isn't it enough that they'll perish?" Yuu explained.

The things carried by the two men murdered by Saki and Yuu have all been dropped and are no longer in their inventory. I took one bow and two arrows from the guys' discarded belongings. "Two players have been eliminated! There are only ten players left! " Yuu burst out laughing like a lunatic. "What a fantastic start; that was a fantastic way to begin a game! Let's go s*******r some other players, "he stated. They are unconcerned. Yuu seemed to be having a good time with what is going on right now. Saki looks to be accustomed to murdering and inflicting pain on the other players. "Let's just wrap this up quickly," she said. Saki begins to jump from island to island in search of adversaries.

"Wow, I'm blown away! Your pal has a great leaping ability "Yuu was astounded. "Is that a one-of-a-kind thing?" I inquired. "Yes! Take a look at how far apart the islands are! They're around 5 to 8 meters long, and I've never seen somebody traverse from island to island without using blocks in my life. Your friend is truly outstanding; perhaps she carries ninja blood in her veins, "Yuu responded. I suppose so, because Saki only jumps when she wants to enter my apartment and then enters through my window. What a strange young lady she is. "Also, this is the first time I've seen a female who is comfortable jumping from this height. Though a player falls in this area, they will perish as if all of their bones have been crushed when they fall to the ground, "he added.

"Saki assassinates a player! There are only 9 players left! " "Take a look! What a brave young lady she is, "Yuu laughed as he said this. "Let's go help her kill!" he exclaimed. "Let's go!" I exclaimed after taking a deep breath. I screamed. "That's Takahashi's spirit!" Yuu said while smirking. Yuu materializes all of the blocks in his hand and uses them to create a passage for us to get to another island by placing them in the air. Yuu is incredible; he can place blocks at a breakneck speed while sprinting. He is an exceptionally gifted young man. There are only 6 players remaining, and one of our opponents is currently on rampage.

Saki has returned to us, drenched in sweat. "Are you okay?" Yuu asked Saki. "We have to be careful," she added, pausing to regain her breath. "The remaining opponents are quite formidable, and I believe we have no chance against them," she added. Saki is on the verge of collapsing, but Yuu manages to catch him. Saki's leg was lacerated. It appears to be a severe wound, and blood is pouring out of her leg. "Did you come across them?" Yuu inquired. "Yes, and I'm just fortunate that I was able to get out," she replied. Even though her legs are wounded, her incredible jump saves her and she manages to escape.

"They are quite quick! I believe they're on their way here right now! " Saki continued. "Really?" Yuu remarked. It was a pretty swift occurrence, and for some reason, a fast man was already behind me. We didn't hear a single sound as he approached from the island behind us. Are we just being too loud and didn't hear this fast man, or is he just so fast that no sound is made? He dashed towards me, threatening to murder me. His teammates begin to fly out and prepare to assault us. Yuu unleashes a cloud of black smoke, and his aura shifts once more. He appears to be transforming into a devil, but no one else can see him. Yuu has a lot of speed! He summoned a shield and blocked the assailant who was about to kill me.

Yuu pushed the man with his power, nearly knocking him off the island, but he was fortunate enough to keep his balance. "Kill them!" exclaimed the fast guy. His teammate began to charge towards us, intending to kill all three of us. Yuu takes a deep inhale and I can feel him unleashing so much force that he punches the other person who is ready to approach us and kills him instantly. He snatched the last man's neck and crushed him to death. The items of the two players who died have been dropped. "Kill two birds with one stone! There are only 4 players left! "

He is a serious contender. He isn't the typical player. Is he attempting to deceive us? I'm not sure, but there's something strange about Yuu. He grins and turns his gaze towards our adversary. He laughed and said, "Is that all you got?" Our opponent appears to be insane, but I'm sure he can't move as quickly as he did before. Saki is still on the ground, conscious but unable to fight due to a lack of strength. We don't have a choice but to rely on Yuu, I guess. "Let's go!" he exclaimed, mocking our previous opponent. "Let's get this ball rolling! Now is the time to attack me! Why? Are you afraid? " Yuu remarked.

Yuu stretches his arms, as if he's hoping our opponent will attack him. "What is it that is taking you so long? Go! Assail me! Are you worried that you'll end up in the same boat as your teammates? "He stated it while chuckling. I'm not sure, but I believe Yuu should stop enjoying the game right now. Now is not the time to boast about yourself or make fun of your opponent. "I suppose you should call it a day." I stated. He put his hand on my shoulders and said, "Let's get this party started! Don't be afraid! Keep an eye on your brother to see whether he can put an end to this game fairly! I want my opponent to use whatever strength he has left". Yuu seemed to be confident in our ability to win. I should trust him, but I'm not sure why I'm so concerned.

"Did you just order me to use the last strength in my body?" Our opponent stated. While gazing at our opponent, Yuu burst out laughing. "Finally, you've begun to speak! Do you want to get this fight started right now?!"he replied, a smirk on his face. Yuu strikes a position as though he is ready to defend himself against any attack from the opponent in front of us. He said, "Bring it on." I kept a tight eye on the two of them, but I just witnessed Yuu about to fall, his guts sliced open, yet he was still alive. We had no idea the guy was attacking Yuu! The opponent is quite quick, and he has already gotten ahead of you. Yuu, who was in excruciating pain, asked, "How c-come?”

We didn't spot the guy slashing Yuu's guts since he was so quick. Something must be done. Yuu and Saki will die if I do nothing. I must get up! I'm going to show some courage. With no strength left, Yuu collapsed to the ground. Our adversary continues to pound on Yuu's head with his foot. This is too much for me right now. "Enough!" I yelled angrily. He gives me a frigid stare as he stares at me. If I keep talking, it appears that he will not hesitate to murder me. He said, "What are your plans?" I'm unable to approach him in any way. If I attempt it, I'll probably die. For me, the only choice is to use the bow and arrow I took from our opponent earlier.

In my palm, I materialized an arrow and a bow. I don't have a lot of arrows, and I just have two, so I have to be extra cautious. I aim the bow and arrow at him, and when I let go, he wipes it away like nothing happened. It didn't even frighten him. These bow and arrows are useless, and I have no idea how to use them! He pulled Saki's head and took a look at her. "Don't do that to her!" I screamed. Saki began to cough blood after he choked her. My horns seem to want to grow, as if my devil half is growing into me.

The arrows have tremendous lightning-like speed and are surrounded by lightning. They resemble lightning arrows that the lightning God summons. I feel like I'm going to pass out when I release it. Our opponent perished once the arrow passed through his heart. His lifeless corpse falls to the ground, and his blood and organs begin to leak out of the hole created by the arrow. "This game is won by Takahashi, Yuu, and Saki!"
