Chapter 102: The Introduction

We return home and resume our usual routine. We go to bed at night and get up in the morning. The ceremony day has arrived, and although it is the time that I wanted, I am unprepared. I'm not sure how I'll look in the king's and Katsumi's eyes. I looked at my hologram and noticed a message. My hologram has already received the invitation, which will be used to gain access to the castle once we arrive. "Are you considering not going into the castle?" she inquired. I still have the feeling that I don't want to be there. I'm still not ready to confront them, and I'm not sure how to behave as if everything is fine even if they aren't around. "I'm in good shape. We have no choice but to get there, "I stated.

"If you don't want to go, we can decide not to go and write an excuse letter instead. We still have time to write a message to the moderators requesting that your name not be revealed in order to protect your safety and privacy "she stated. She's probably well aware of why I'm not interested in attending. "No, don't even consider that. We are going to go there. Everything has already been prepared. It's actually rather amusing to see two well-dressed individuals emerge from the woods, which I find quite strange. "The people are staring at us, and they are amused that we have walked out of the woods looking like this," I explained. She said, "I know right." She presented me with a tuxedo mask to conceal my identity. She wears one for herself as well. "Wear that for a moment to hide your identity," she advised. "Let's use my victory to surprise everyone at the ceremony," I remarked.

I conceal myself behind the tuxedo mask so no one can see me. We arrive at the castle, and as we approach the front gate, I hand over my hologram to the guard, indicating that I have been invited to today's ceremony. They allow us to access the castle by bowing to us as we move towards the castle. These guards are the same ones that mocked and tortured me in the past for the king's greed and enmity. They had no notion that the man they were about to kill was the same man they were bowing to now. I used to be no one and was constantly looked down upon, but today I am the same person with a new position. I'll look them in the eyes and show them who I am right now. This is my retaliation and a pleasant surprise for everyone.

A man approached me as we walked around the castle admiring the scenery. He waves his hands at me, as if he recognizes me. "Do you know who he is?" she inquired. He does look familiar, but he, like me, is hiding behind a mask. He bows to us as he stands in front of us. "It's been a long time since I've seen you," he remarked. I don't say anything because I'm still trying to figure out who this dude is. I'm still not sure who he is. "Please accept my apologies. Please excuse me," he said. He takes off his mask, and I can see his face well now. "It's me, Vertxander. Do you recall who I am? ", he stated. After the moment when he saved me from near death, there's no way I'll forget him.

"Is he the creator, Vertxander? Are you one of his friends?" she enquired. Well, I can't say or claim that he is my friend, but we do have a special relationship, and I owe him a huge debt because he saved my life. "He saved my life from the king, which was somewhat unexpected. I'd like to express my gratitude to you "I stated. Chitose and I try to bow to him, but he keeps interrupting us. "Actually, there's no need to bow, and you owe me nothing. I do such things on my own volition, and I don't want you to believe that the life you have now is a gift from me. It's fine for me if you live the life you want "he stated. I'm still curious about him and have a lot of questions for him.

He must know something about my past, I believe. I'd like to ask him about it, but I don't want to disturb his schedule because I know how busy he is. He inquired, "Where is Tori?". He's on the lookout for Tori. He also seems to know a lot about Tori, in my opinion. He most likely knows why Tori and I became sinners in this world, as well as the sins that we did that cannot be pardoned. Why is he still kind to me and Tori if he is aware of that sin? If it's a grave sin, he shouldn't be talking to me and treating me like this. I'm still not sure how to tell him that Tori has passed away. He's probably unaware that Tori is involved in the strange occurrence.

He inquired, "Who is this woman with you?" I patted Chitose on the head and introduced her to him. "Her name is Chitose, and she is a new acquaintance of mine," I explained. He glances at Chitose as if he's already seen Chitose somewhere else. "I believe we've met previously since you seem quite familiar," he explained. Maybe they've met before, because I believe Chitose is hiding a secret from me because she recently ran away from her home. He inquired, "Where are Saki and your brother?" It will be tough for me to share this narrative about how I lost all of the people I cared about. I sometimes believe that God despises me so much that he has to put me through all of this suffering that I don't deserve.

"They were all dead. Isn't that a bit harsh on me? They abandoned me in this world. My brother was killed when he fought a hacker and was stabbed just to keep me safe. He also revealed his genuine identity to us, and we discovered he is a hacker as a result. Tori and Saki perished in a strange manner. They simply vanish and are never seen again. Many people are missing here, and the knights are searching for them, but they have found no evidence, and there is no trace of any suspect who could be the cause of all the missing people, therefore the king has declared the individuals who are missing dead "I explained myself. Tears welled up in his eyes as he learned that Tori had died. He wiped his tears and put on his mask.

"I still can't believe she passed away. We are being pursued by destiny, and no matter what happens, we will not be able to escape it "he stated Is there anything he said? I'm pretty sure I misheard what he said. "Are you alright?" I inquired. I believe he said something that I should be aware of. "Everything is fine with me. Please stay safe at all times and let me know if you feel threatened, "he stated. He doesn't have to tell me that, after all. I'm not his responsibility, and I don't want to be a burden. Like my previous friends, he is quite protective of me. "I'd like you to concentrate more on the problems you're now attempting to tackle. I know you're capable, and I believe you're doing an excellent job, "I stated.

I notice that his mask is slightly skewed, so I take it in my hands and try to straighten it out. "You look fantastic in that mask," I remarked. "You actually look amazing in your clothes and mask too," he said with a smile. I'm actually surprised that he recognizes me even though I'm wearing a mask because I assumed that no one would. "To be honest, I didn't anticipate anyone identifying me when I was wearing a mask. I am now a legend, so I am so sure that I will surprise you and the moderators who saved me, "I stated. He gives me a hug and taps my back. "I am incredibly proud of you. There's no way I won't recognize you. I'll recognize you even if you come back to life several times and take different forms, "he stated.

Did he just say something about my resurrecting multiple times? I'll have to inquire about it with him. A man in a mask also approaches him and whispers something to him. "I have to leave right now. The ceremony is about to begin, so get there as soon as possible "he stated. They both teleported away, leaving Chitose and myself alone. "I can't believe you're a creator's friend," she exclaimed. Well, I suppose I'm fortunate that we may be considered friends in some way. "I don't think we're buddies," I admitted. I'm still perplexed as to why he cried when he found Tori had passed away. When he hears it, he also feel anguish. Tori appears to be a very significant person to him, and he always expresses his love for her.

The monarch is terrified of him, and I believe that the title of creator is the highest in this realm because the king just reigns and governs a kingdom, whereas the creator reigns and governs the entire globe "I stated. It's no surprise that Vertxander is so preoccupied with his life because he is working to solve the world's problems. The moderators have already begun the ceremony's introduction and are offering speeches to those present. The legends who have been invited have arrived and are forming a queue. I'm last in line, therefore I'll be the last legend introduced by the moderator, which makes me even more uncomfortable. What if everyone hates me because I'm a sinner?

The moderator began introducing the other legend, and I could hear the crowd screaming for their chosen legend while we were still hidden behind the curtains. My palms are sweating, and I'm becoming increasingly frightened. "Don't worry, I'll always be behind you," Chitose added. The legend in front of me is being introduced right now, and I'll be up next. "Last but not least, I am honored to introduce the legend of Arrow Void to everyone," the moderator remarked. While the moderator points his hand toward me, I move outside the curtain and approach the stage. In front of everyone, I took off my mask and looked around. I saw Katsumi, who was sitting in front of the stage and was very close to us. I look into Katsumi's eyes. "Takahashi Fujin!".
