Chapter 103: Removing of Power

"Actually, the first time I see him is when he saves me, which is why it's weird for me to be saved by a stranger, but I'm grateful to him," I explained. She landed a punch on my shoulder. She exclaimed, "You are such a lucky guy." As we proceed to the hall, we notice that a large number of people have already arrived. I'm starting to feel self-conscious about myself, but I can assure you that I don't appear impoverished in front of them, and my clothes make me look like I'm from a royal family. I keep looking around to see if somebody I recognize is around. Vertxander is seated next to the monarch, and they are on two separate thrones. "Take a look at Vertxander, for example. He is seated next to the king because he is a powerful individual "she remarked

"He is, without a doubt, powerful. The monarch is terrified of him, and I believe that the title of creator is the highest in this realm because the king just reigns and governs a kingdom, whereas the creator reigns and governs the entire globe "I stated. It's no surprise that Vertxander is so preoccupied with his life because he is working to solve the world's problems. The moderators have already begun the ceremony's introduction and are offering speeches to those present. The legends who have been invited have arrived and are forming a queue. I'm last in line, therefore I'll be the last legend introduced by the moderator, which makes me even more uncomfortable. What if everyone hates me because I'm a sinner?

The moderator began introducing the other legend, and I could hear the crowd screaming for their chosen legend while we were still hidden behind the curtains. My palms are sweating, and I'm becoming increasingly frightened. "Don't worry, I'll always be behind you," Chitose added. The legend in front of me is being introduced right now, and I'll be up next. "Last but not least, I am honored to introduce the legend of Arrow Void to everyone," the moderator remarked. While the moderator points his hand toward me, I move outside the curtain and approach the stage. In front of everyone, I took off my mask and looked around. I saw Katsumi, who was sitting in front of the stage and was very close to us. I look into Katsumi's eyes. "Takahashi Fujin!".

Her amazement can be seen in her eyes. It's been a long time since she's seen me. It's probably unfair that I'm not surprised to see her right now because I'm used to looking at her from a distance without her noticing. It's fascinating to observe how she reacts when she sees me again. "Takahashi..." she murmured to the wind. I turn away from her and look around, waving my hand and bowing to express my gratitude for being chosen as a legend and a member of the kingdom's staff who would bring peace and serve the monarch. I am aware that this is my duty, but rather than serving the king, I would like to serve the kingdom, as I have yet to discover a way to die and be with the one I love.

Katsumi’s POV

As we greet and celebrate the new legend in this kingdom, we continue to clap our hands. There have been many legends before just like Watanabe who have chosen to focus more on their company and family in order to end their career as a legend. I suppose he wants to grieve and focus on her wife for the time being because their daughter died, and I believe he wants to at least be by her side and stop serving the kingdom for a bit to recover. The moderator is about to introduce the final legend. "Last but not least, I am honored to introduce the legend of Arrow Void to everyone," the moderator remarked. 

The final legend comes from the Arrow Void game, which reminds me of Takahashi Fujin, who enjoys playing it. I haven't seen him in a long time, and I haven't heard anything from him since the day he left us. I'm curious as to where he is right now. I hope he's eating three times a day and is in good health. When he's not busy, he's probably playing the Arrow Void. As the moderator raises his hands and points to someone entering the curtain, I clap my hands. "That man appears to be extremely wealthy. Take a look at the outfit he's wearing. He has the appearance of being from a royal family," Bara remarked. "Hey, don't say things like that. What if he overhears your words? That would be just too humiliating, "I said.

"Of course, he'll ignore it. We're still around a meter away from him "she stated Bara keeps clapping for the man in front of us. He is dressed in knight's armor, which is unusual because the other legends are dressed in princely attire or a tuxedo. This man appears to be a valiant servant ready to serve the kingdom, which is why he stands apart. He removed his mask, and what happened next was completely unexpected and difficult to describe. It's impossible for me to believe it's him. He began to gaze around, as if looking for someone. He eventually noticed me and looked me in the eyes. I've been waiting for you for a long time, and now you'll just show up.

"Takahashi Fujin!" the moderator shouted as he introduced the last legend. I am still thinking about you all the time, and I still can't stop thinking about you. How am I supposed to forget about you now that you've returned and appear right in front of me? I am so proud of you. You have no clue how pleased I am to have you standing in front of us like a legend once more. Even just for a day, you didn't even say hello or greet me. I assumed you had already left and were in a location far from this country. Knowing you're here, pursuing and working hard to achieve your ambition, makes me so glad for you. I'm sorry for all the mistakes I made, but you'll always be Takahashi to me. I know I'm about to weep, but I have to keep my tears in control in front of him.

He's staring at me as though I'm nothing to him. His reaction is very straightforward, and his joy isn't visible on his face. He isn't surprised to see me, which concerns me. He looks away from me and toward the throng, waving his hands and bowing to them. Perhaps he's still resentful of what I did to him. How I wish he understood that my previous acts were not intended to harm him, but rather to keep the two of us safe. I simply don't want to harm the feelings of the people who are important to us. I'm not trying to be self-centered. Now he appears to be in positive spirits. He smiles in front of the throng, and it is the brightest of all the smiles. To everyone here, he appears to be a peace symbol.

A lady stands behind her, clapping her hands as well. I recognize her as someone I've seen before. She's wearing a mask that looks like the one Takahashi was wearing previously. Takahashi gives her a glance and says something. "You should take off your mask as well," he says, pointing to the lady's mask. Takahashi assists the lady in removing the mask. I'm surprised to see that the lady who is in front of us is the lady that possesses a black ticket that I met at the fancy restaurant. What exactly is she up to with Takahashi? Why would a female with a black ticket be Takahashi's subordinate? I'm not questioning because I think Takahashi is underserving, but because I think having a black ticket is a fantastic asset, and she doesn't need to serve others.

They appear to be a relationship, so I'm wondering if he's already moved on. He stares at her as though they've been together for a long time. They're both grinning and looking at each other. He's already turned away from me. They're probably already together, which is why he's no longer interested in me and isn't happy to see me. I'm not sure how I feel. If I should be upset and sad. It's fine, I suppose. Why should I be upset if she is content with his situation? I should be glad for him and support him in anything he wants to do in the future, as long as it is for the greater good and he is not harming others. Even if I'm in pain when I see the two of them, I force a grin and clap for his accomplishments.

I heard a noise coming from above, from the area of the king and the creator. It sounds like someone stomping their foot in rage. Everyone turned their heads in that way, and we saw the king standing there with a maniacal expression on his face. He's undoubtedly irritated that someone like Takahashi has become a legend. I'm not sure why Takahashi wants to become a legend when becoming a legend entails serving the king and the kingdom, and he already knows his connection with the monarch is strained. The king is grasping his hands, and everyone looks at him for a moment. The moderator has finished speaking, and everyone has stopped clapping. All we have to do now is wait for the king's next remarks.

The monarch screamed angrily and hurled the cup he had been drinking into the crowd. Fortunately, those who are about to be hit manage to avoid being hit. As he watches the king rage in front of everyone, Vertxander remains unfazed. "This is completely unacceptable! How does a man like him become a legend? That man is a criminal, and you have no idea what he's capable of doing to us! What if he isn't a sinner at all and, like his brother, is a hacker? Everyone who is unfamiliar with this man's backstory should pay attention to what I have to say. This individual is linked to a hacker. His hacker brother perished as well, exposing his true identity to a large number of people. This man is untrustworthy! "he stated

"This man is being pursued by misfortune, and he will always be pursued by it since he is related to the devil. Do you want misfortune to pursue our kingdom as well? I'm sure you don't want it to happen, so don't let this man rule the kingdom. He will wreak havoc on us and divide us! He's the devil! He's a devil in disguise who will pretend to want to help when all he really wants to do is ruin us! I will not accept this man, and right now, I will reject him, and with my power, I will take away his ability to become a legend! This meeting is adjourned "he stated. Vertxander stood close to the king once the monarch finished speaking. He placed his hand on the back of the king's shoulder, causing him to look at him. "Do you think you've spoken everything you want to say? Is it okay if I say something?"  Vertxander said.
