Mild was sad seeing his friend act like this.
He hugged Gael as he was still crying so hard.
After how many minutes, Gael calmed his nerves and stopped crying.
"Gael, first, I'm so sorry for you! As your friend, I'm so sorry for you. I don't know you're going through so much pain. You're such a good actor and a pretender, you know! You hide this matter to me, good! As in, you can even join some TV series!" Mild tried to make Gael laugh, but the man just sadly looked at him. Mild then stopped laughing and looked at Gael seriously this time.
"But seriously, friend, I wish I could tell you what to do, but no! I really can't because it will still be your decision, but here it is as your friend, I will try to give you good advice, but it's still up to you if you hear and listen to me. You love him, right? You can't be far away from him, so if that's the case."
Mild breathe deeply before continuing.
"Be with him. Remain as his friend! Yes! It will be hard at first because you want it to be more than that! But we really can't do anything about that man's heart. It's his right to choose whom to love. All we can control now is you. You told me you couldn't bear to be far away from him, right? So don't! You don't have to let go and stay away from him. Gael appreciates all Mild words, which calmed him down a little bit. His friend is right! He should let destiny lead the way for him to his reality.
Deep inside, Gael wishes that Zander and he would end up together in the end. If not, then there's nothing he can do about it but to accept it as it's his fate in love. It may hurt him, but he knows he can survive it.
He will not lose hope until the very end.

Gael POV
After Mild and I talked, I didn't know why but I felt relieved.
I guess talking to someone with your problem help to lessen the burden and the hurt.
After a while, Mild and I decided to go to our next class, but before that, I made sure to fix myself first. I know I look like a mess.
Zander Calling!
I was shocked when I checked my phone screen and saw that Zander was the one calling me. It's a miracle. I wonder what's the problem is that he is calling me now.
To tell you the truth, he also doesn't contact me for the last two weeks, which is not shocking as I assumed. He didn't notice me keeping my distance from him because he was busy with Allyssa.
I tried to breathe deeply before answering the call. I let out a slight cough to try to normalize my voice. I don't want to sound like I just finished crying.
"Hello, Zander! How are you! long time no see ahh" I pretended to be happy to talk to him
"." but no one answers from the other line.
I started to feel uneasy about this. I can't explain it, you know the feeling of knowing that something was wrong, but you don't know what it is!
"Zander? Hello? Are you okay? Why aren't you speaking? is there something wrong!"
"." still no answer.
This time, my heart was racing so fast because of nervousness.
What's happening?
Lord! Please make sure Zander is okay! Please, my love.
"Zander! I know you're there! Are you okay! Is something happening to you? Are you in danger! Zander, Please tell me! I am starting to panic here! Zander! Zander!"
I repeatedly called his name, but I only heard heavy breathing from someone in the background.
OMG! Zander! What happen!
"Zander! If you're there! Please hang on, okay! I will go to you! Wait for me, please! I will go to you!" I didn't waste my time after I ended the call. I immediately fixed my stuff and decided to skip school and go to Zander! I know Zander needs me now! My love needs me.
"Mild, please excuse me for our next class. I need to go. It's an emergency! I can't explain now, but please trust me on this. Thank you!"
I didn't wait for his reply and immediately hailed a taxi for me to go to Zander’s condo faster.
Zander needs me right now!
I know I'm in the progress of letting go of my feeling for him. That I shouldn't be putting myself in a position where I will be near him again, then I will hope for him to notice me, but in the end. I will be hurt by the reality that is in front of me again
But Zander will always be my priority! I can drop anything for him. I can give everything to him. As in Everything!
"Sir, MS Condominium, please."
Yep, MS, meaning Zander’s family owns it.
If you will ask me, how can I know that he is there? I don't know-how. I know! I feel it.
"Sir, please hurry. It's an emergency!" I pleaded with the driver.
"Yes, Sir!" he answers and immediately speeds the car.
Seriously, I feel so nervous right now! I don't want to panic, but I can't help it.
"Zander, please! Please be okay!"
After a few minutes, we arrived at Zander’s place.
The building security immediately let me in because they knew me.
They just greeted me, and I just bowed at them. I can't waste any more time! I need to go to Zander’s room.
Before I was always going here every single day, sometimes to ask him for help to tutor me, sometimes I helped him to clean his place, also to cook for him cause he's a terrible cook. Sometimes I just come here to keep him company.
If you're curious why I'm the one who was doing those things for Zander, even if Allyssa was already in our lives! It's because she can never do those things for Zander! Alyssa is a princess. She is born to be served, not to serve. Also, she's always busy with her career.
I don't see why Zander was so in love with her. They may look so compatible in terms of physical appearance but inside? Zander needs someone who can take care of him and his future family, and I know Allyssa is not the right person to give him that. Her Ballerina career will always be her priority, but I don't think Zander realized that fact, or he did already, but he always ignores it because he is blindly in love with her.
There are times that Zander will ask me a favor to cook Allyssa's favorite dishes, then he will say that he's the one who cooked it. He doesn't know any house chores, but to impress Allyssa, he will lower his pride to ask me those favors for her.
Pathetic right! Just like me.
When I arrived on Zander’s floor, Yes, he owns the whole 15th floor, which is the top floor of this building, I entered his password. It's our birthday if you combine the months and the day. Thankfully he doesn't change it yet.
Gosh! It made me feel a little hope again. Why is he still using my birthdate as his password if he really forgets or doesn't care about me already?
As I entered his condo unit, I noticed that lights in the living room were also off in the kitchen, which is weird because he will never leave any of his lights off because he fears darkness. Even if he goes out of here else, Zander will never leave his place without lights. He will not leave any part in this unit dark, especially if he's here. So, I assumed he was not here.
I guess I was wrong!
But as I went back outside, I saw that the lights in his room were open.
He's in there!
I rushed to his door to knock!
"Zander, It's Gael! Are you there? Zander? Zander?"
There is no one answering my calls. I check if the room is locked, and thankfully it's not.
It's because of Zander and his mannerism.
I entered Zander’s room, that when I saw him.
"Zander!"
