Mirror Image

I woke up to my blaring alarm, my arm stretched out pressed the off button. My eyes pointed at the wall which held my calendar. 'First day of school, of course' I thought as my legs flopped off the mattress one by one. A smell of bacon wafted to my nose, my mouth watered as I sped through the morning process. 'Hurry up Lexi! Ben will eat it all if you don't!' I shouted in my head Finally ready I sped down the stairs only for my face to be greeted my my brother's chest. "Ben! come on man let me at the food!" I whined Ben held a smirk on his face as he said "if there's any left that is lex." I gasped in betrayal as I ducked to the side, to my glee there was a plate of lovely food. Like a hoover, I gulped down my food. each bite bought what felt like tears to my eyes. I had finally finished when my dad entered the kitchen with a newspaper. "What a surprise, didn't know my daughter turned into a pig." He chucked as he ruffled my hair. "Dad!" I yelled as walked past him. 'oh crap! the bus is here already!' I thought "bye everyone! I've got too go!" I yelled halfway out the door. 'welp, there's no time like the present.'
