Introduction
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth (Genesis 1:1). God in sundry times spoke to us by the prophets but in these last days, He is speaking to us by his son (Hebrews 1:1-2). There has been a craving, a longing in the hearts of men (Psalm 63:1-2) and an urgency in the Spirit for all to come and access this divine power or ability (Proverbs 1:20, John 7:37).
This power is called the creative power of God. It was this divine power that defined and shaped creation in Genesis. It was God's ability at work in the beginning. By this power the heavens and the earth were garnished. It was this same power the performed every imagination, council and verdicts of God (Genesis 1:2, Job 26:13, Isaiah 48:5a).
It was this same power that aligned and shaped destinies. It is this divine power which is responsible for the rebirth or the regeneration (John 3:3). One amazing thing is God put this same creative power or ability into man (Genesis 1:26, 2 Peter 1:3a).
Man was created in the image and likeness of God. Job's account reveals that God put wisdom in the hidden part of man (Job 38:36). Wisdom is power. By the Spirit of Wisdom the Heavens were garnished (Job 26:13a). Just as the word of God enjoins us about Paul's desire to know the power of his resurrection (Philippians 3:10). A desire to taste and experience the resurrection power, similarly in order for us to fully utilize this power, we must thoroughly understand this power and it's operations. Understanding this creative power and it's operations will help you redefine, shape and transform your world.
