"Jade, you're pregnant."
Jade woke up and found herself tucked in bed with her father by her side, his head on the mattress with his eyes closed. Jade groaned, feeling slight pain at her side. She looked up at the ceiling, sighing out. The earlier events coming back to her in a flash, everything that happened between Gregory and her. After that, her memory was blank. She wondered what happened but she guessed her illness took a toll on her finally.
"Papa?" Jade groaned. Her throat was dry. She sounded like sand paper to her own eyes. Jade needed to take water. She hated to wake her papa but had no choice.
