"Cara!" Jade called. She saw Cara leave the servants quarters in a hurry and she couldn't meet up with her unless she stopped her.
Jade wanted to have a word with her since after yesterday's dinner. Cara had seen what happened and she knew Cara would want to talk to her about it. Jade knew Cara is a friend to her. Even if she wasn't, she was far better than Marie who did nothing but cause her trouble.
Cara halted immediately she heard Jade. Cara didn't want to talk to Jade, but she guessed she had to, seeing Jade already spotted her. Cara actually saw Jade exiting her room. She increased her footsteps to avoid her on purpose. She didn't know what to tell Jade when they conversed. She is now the Prince's female or mate, no one knew that but she belonged to the prince.
