Katherine left Arthur's chamber angrily. She would surely do whatever she wanted, with or without his agreement. She had reason to believe Jade wasn't innocent and she would do what she felt was right. Katherine didn't know why she didn't suspect this sooner. Jade looked nothing like her parents, from the hair to the eyes down to the skin. Jade is just perfect in every way and this is precisely what Katherine hated the most.
"Gather the guards." Katherine roared. "In the assembly ground." She told the head guard at the entrance of her chambers.
