Chapter 18 With the students back, life on the dig team fell into place as it had prior to the winter hiatus. It was as if nothing had interrupted their work, and Wasyl’s death had never happened. And each night, Dmytro rode the bike up to the dig site. Throughout the day, he would look for any sign of what he had witnessed at night, but he saw nothing. Each night, he vowed to stay awake.
