One could hear a pin drop in that room after hearing what Dave said. They looked around at each other, confused, with different questions they each wanted an answer to. They didn't have to wait long as Cane spared no room for suspense. He shifted his weight from one foot to the other, staring intently at Dave who was now seated up on the bed.
“Wha...what do you mean Maya is alive? She's dead, Adam said he saw her body and hr didn't feel a heartbeat, plus I can't feel her anymore. So come on, explain" Cane urged impatiently, getting a bit angry at the idea of it probably not being true and his suppressed pain being dredged out for nothing.
“Hmmm..." Dave groaned from the pain on his wrist that were slowly healing up. “Alright, where do I start?"
