Tapping her foot repeatedly on the floor, Vee kept on shifting nervously on the couch. She emptied the last glass of whiskey and heaved a deep sigh. She couldn't tell if her brother meant what he said or if it was just out of anger, and he wasn't there to clarify. ‘He wouldn't send me on a suicide mission, would he?' She thought to herself. She stood up, made her way to the mini bar and poured herself a fresh glass of whiskey. Taking her position on the couch again, she fished out her phone and began scrolling through her contact, searching for anyone she might be able to call for help. It took her a few seconds, she was at the end of her contact list and she had no one to call. Vee scoffed at this. She shook her head in self pity, realizing she had no one, no one that could assist her
