Alpha Diamond stood in front of the whole pack, his and Maya's combined, all gathered there in the packhouse. He stared at their curious and impatient faces. He could see the question in their eyes, they wanted to know where Maya and Dave were. Avoiding the protest they were threatening, he knew he had to tell them, to put everyone in check and stop their little rebellion. He cleared his throat, turned to Wayne who stood by the side. He gave him a slight nod before turning back to the pack. “I know how eager you want to see Maya, your Alpha's daughter and my Luna... I haven't let anyone see her because..." He paused, exhaling sharply, his expression dimming into sadness. “Because she's dead" He annouced.
