Half way to the direction of the woods and still, no words had been spoken. The drive had been a very silent one as no one knew what to say at the moment. It felt hard and tensed for both parties as they are always trying not to steal glances at each other. Their wolves weren't helping at all as they kept longing for each other, making the desire to hold each other stronger.
Cane stole a quick glance at Maya who kept her eyes fixed outside the woods, staring at the bushes as they go by fast. The silence was eating Cane up and he kept searching his head for something subtle to say.
