ALPHA DAMIAN BLACKWOOD - Alpha of Blackwood Pack. Age 30, 6'4, black hair, gray eyes. Ruthless, power-hungry, terrified of losing control. Rejected Maya to look strong.

Abilities: Strong Alpha, experienced fighter, political manipulator.

Weakness: Paranoia, pride, still bonded to Maya, regrets the rejection but won't admit it.

SOPHIA - Blackwood's Luna. Age 19. Beautiful, cruel, insecure. Chosen by Damian for politics. Hates Maya and sees her as a threat.

Abilities: Social manipulation, plays the victim.

Weakness: No real loyalty from pack, desperate, jealous.

KADE - Beta of Silver Pack. Age 23. Maya's right hand. Loyal, calm, strategic. First to believe in Maya.

FINN - Warrior of Silver Pack. Hot-headed, funny, fiercely loyal to Maya.

TOMAS - Elder and keeper of scrolls. Found the prophecy about the Silver Wolf.

PLOT

EXPOSITION

Maya was Luna of Blackwood until Damian rejected her in public.

Banished with nothing, she nearly died in the forest. Her wolf Mira awakened and her eyes turned silver.

She learned Damian rejected her on purpose to gain power.

She built the Silver Pack from other outcasts. 60 days later she has 600 wolves.

INCITING INCIDENT

Maya discovers the prophecy: "The Silver Wolf will break the false Alpha."

She decides to return to Blackwood. Not to beg, but to take it down and build something better.

RISING ACTION/ PROGRESSIVE COMPLICATIONS

PART 1: REJECTION & PAIN Ch 1-10

DAMIAN REJECTS MAYA IN FRONT OF THE PACK The air in Blackwood Pack grounds tasted like snow and betrayal. I could feel five hundred pairs of eyes on me. Five hundred wolves, waiting to see if I would break. The full moon hung above us, so bright it hurt. It was supposed to be my wedding moon. Seven days from now, I was supposed to stand here in white, with Alpha Damian Blackwood’s hand in mine, and be crowned Luna. Instead I was standing in the center of the circle in the same dress I’d worn to training that morning. Mud on the hem. Hands shaking. Across from me, Damian looked like a statue carved from ice. His black suit was perfect. His golden eyes were empty. He hadn’t looked at me like that in months. Not since the rumors started. Not since Selena arrived. My wolf, Mira, was clawing at my chest. Mine, she kept whispering. He’s ours. Fight him. But I was tired of fighting. “Is this really necessary?” I asked. My voice came out steadier than I felt. “Can’t we do this in private?” Damian’s jaw ticked. The only sign that he was human under all that alpha. “The pack deserves to know,” he said. His voice carried. It always did. “The Luna must be strong. Pure. Loyal.” A murmur went through the crowd. Loyal. That was the word they were using now. Like I’d cheated. Like I’d betrayed him. The truth was uglier. The truth was that Damian’s father, the former Alpha, had made a deal with Selena’s family when we were kids. And now that deal was due. And I was in the way. “I didn’t do anything,” I whispered. But only Mira heard me. Damian stepped forward. Up close I could see it - the dark circles under his eyes, the tension in his shoulders. He hadn’t slept either. For one second, just one, I thought maybe he’d stop this. That he’d remember the nights he’d traced constellations on my back and called me his moon. Then his face went blank again. “Do you have anything to say for yourself, Maya Reyes?” he asked. Formal. Distant. Like I was a stranger. I had a hundred things to say. I could scream about the three years we spent together. About how he taught me to hunt. About how he held me after my parents died. I could beg. But Luna’s don’t beg. So I lifted my chin instead. “I have nothing to say to a coward.” The gasp that went through the pack was so loud it drowned out the wolves in the distance. Damian’s eyes finally flashed. Gold, then red. Anger. Hurt. I couldn’t tell which. “Then it’s done,” he said. And the words hit me like claws. “I, Alpha Damian Blackwood, reject you, Maya Reyes, as my mate and future Luna of Blackwood Pack.” Pain. It wasn’t like a cut. It was like someone reached into my chest and ripped out Mira. The mate bond snapped so hard I tasted blood. My knees hit the dirt. But I didn’t make a sound. I wouldn’t give them that. Around me, the pack started to move. Whispers. Some looked sorry. Most looked relieved. Selena stood at the front, in a white dress that looked suspiciously like a wedding gown. She wasn’t even trying to hide her smile. “Get up,” Damian said quietly. Only for me. I looked up at him. Really looked. And I didn’t see the boy who used to sneak me food when I was fasting. I didn’t see the man who swore he’d burn the world for me. I saw an Alpha who chose politics over love. “Don’t,” I said. “Don’t touch me.” I stood on my own. My legs shook, but I stood. As I walked past him, past Selena, past all of them, I felt something shift. The pain was still there. But under it, something else. Cold. Clear. They thought rejecting me would break me. They thought I’d run and hide and die in the woods like a rogue. They were wrong. The moon was full tonight. And under a full moon, promises mean something. I stopped at the edge of the circle and turned back one last time. “You made your choice, Damian,” I said, loud enough for everyone to hear. “Now live with it.” Then I walked out of Blackwood Pack.
