Welcome Mom
“Peter, whatever possessed you to go find Melanie and take that trip with her? We all thought you were out west taking care of your energy interests.”
“Actually, Alex, you had lot do with that.”
“I did? How so?”
“I knew if I didn’t do something quickly you would have captured both twins and you already had one. The other one was mine. You see Alex, all of you, I am in love with Melanie and I was not going to let her get away.”
“Melanie, how do you feel about that?” I asked her. She didn’t say a word, just lifted her left hand. On the fourth finger was a ring with a beautiful diamond in it. A very large diamond. I rushed over to her and looked at it closely. Alex was grinning radiantly, and the other girls came to look at it too. “You are engaged?”
“Yes
