Melanie, Peter, and Mom
We went down the elevator, across the courtyard, and up the Tower #3 elevator. The doors opened, and Elise and Candace came to greet us.
“Mom, this is Elise, and this is Candace.” They offered their hands, but Mom gave them an embrace.
“It is so good to meet you two finally. My girls and Alex sing your praises.”
“Alex has been very good to us and we love him a lot.”
“Alex?”
“Yes, Lyssa. Candace and Elise are my co-owners in the restaurant. They stay with us occasionally although they have their own apartment below here.”
“Why don’t you come with me and I’ll show you to your table?” Candace suggested. “This way.”
