When Melanie returned, she looked flushed, and her lipstick was gone. “Ladies’ room, Steph?”
“Yes, sis. I could use a visit there.”
When we left, Elise went over to Alex and gave him a kiss, bending down so he could see her impressive cleavage. She had already touched up her makeup and Alex gave her a knowing look. “Where is Candace tonight?”
“She took the evening off too.”
