In a blink of an eye, the weekend came. I changed into the best-looking dress in my closet, put on delicate makeup, and went out with my bag after making sure everything was perfect.
When I went downstairs, I bumped into my neighbor Paula, who said with a smile, "Ava, you look pretty today. Where are you going?"
I grinned, "I’m going to a friend's birthday party."
"Have a good time."
After a small talk with her, I went to the coffee shop to meet Ella.
When I arrived twenty minutes later, Ella was anxiously waiting for me. As soon as she saw me, her eyes lit up, and then she stood up and said, "Ava, I'm so glad you came!"
