Chapter 20 OUR FATHER THREW BLAST after blast. Sparks of white and yellow and red burst against the other warlock’s shield. For a moment, I couldn’t do anything except stare at the magic my father was able to produce. I knew my father was the High Warlock, but I just took for granted how powerful he really was. The warlock who had attacked me was injured from that first hit my father had landed to get him off me. He cradled one arm against his chest and held up an ever-weakening shield.
