Matlock smiled. “My parents aren’t all bad, I promise. They’re just stuck in their ways.” I nodded. “I know. And to be honest, a part of me knew I’d never be able to stay in mother’s realm forever, not without my sisters. I want to be able to see Ava and Courtney when I want to, and if that means staying here, or building a cottage in the High Warlock realm, then I’m definitely open to suggestions.” I still couldn’t seem to say I wanted to move here completely.
