Chapter Thirteen
Emma was beside herself. She had left the ranch for three days to take care of some urgent business and when she returned Greg was gone. Well, he wasn’t really gone. It was that b***h Hilda. She had seen her opportunity and had assigned Greg to some visiting w***e who was going to have him for two whole weeks! She frantically ran around the complex until she spotted Jenett.
“Jenett,” she said as calmly as she could, “um, how are you?”
“I’m fine, Emma, did everything work out?”
“What?” Emma said distractedly.
“Your legal problem, did it come out okay?”
“Oh, uh, yes.”
“So, Emma, are you glad to be back?” Jenett asked with a twinkle in her eye.
