"Remember when you tol Shaq he couldn't play spades wit us no more if his pants had pockets!?" Odell Sr said trying not to laugh as he spoke, Massy and Odell looked at each other frowning and confused, but trying to hold in their own grin, Bo slapped the counter leaning down as he laugh grew with the memory.
"Aye! Hold on!" Bo tried speaking through his laugh but couldn't, he turned looking at Odell and Massy. "Listen, we me and her uncle Nate would come ova on breaks, we was all big on playin spades! Shaq would have on them LSU sweatpants wit the pockets and he'd be in there hidin cards! Me an ya pops was tryna figure out why we kept loosin! The man had more cards in his pockets, then there was in da deck!" Odell Sr was holding his stomach almost crying as Bo told Massy and Odell the story. "Had a whole different set of cards in his pocket!" Bo shook his head, Odell St wiping tears from his face.
"He prolly still got dem cards in his pockets now!" Odell Sr added.
Bo trying to keep from laughing. "Aye dat ain't his wallet! It's a whole deck of cards!"
For the majority of the night Odell and Massy would hear about the mess and trouble their fathers got into together while in college. Though they were eight hours away at different colleges. Odell Sr at LSU and Bo at UF it didn't stop the two friends from connecting.
"Man, I tell you we know how to make some athletes tho!" Odell Sr said referring to his son and Massy.
Bo shook his head. "You ain't never lied, who would of ever thought, them two together." Bo said in agreement. "Meant to be, meant to be family."

Odell split the majority of his time at the open practice catching footballs with one hand, joking around, and asking if anybody knew of a barber in Hawaii.
"We really out here, no hair cuts." He said twisting and pulling apart the curls in the back of his head. NFL had Odell mic'ed up for a special inside look and sound of how the star practiced, getting to hear his random conversations.
"I ain't did nothin since Carolina, that was my last game."
"They got my jam playin!"
"It's hot out here in Hawaii! I can't play!"
"I need one uh dem... Uh helmets wit da cups on the side of it... Wit da straws that go in yo mouth!"
"Brah, they be gassin brah!" He said about the fans that broke out into a loud cheering after he seemed to amaze them jumping into the air to make another one handed catch. "They use regular or unleaded gas out here!?"
"I like ya jersey! It's nice." He said looking at a small girl with a blue Odell Beckham Jr Giants football jersey.
"I need a hair cut, you'on know nobody? I'm hit!" He asked shaking his head walking up to his teammate.
"You?! I got wolf neck!" His teammate said rubbing the grown out hair on the back of his neck, showing Odell that he too was in desperate need of a hair cut.
"I got wolf... Head! everything! Look at dis shit." Odell said back to him as they began walking closer to the huddle.
"We out here workin!"
"You know where a barber at? I need uh hair cut... Sir."

Massy eventually made her way down to the field. Skipping out on the fancy sky box that most of the wives and girlfriends sat at. She waved at fans and signed a few things before making it through the crowed of spectators, security lifting up the yellow tape allowing her onto the field. Her hair pulled up into a messy bun that sat on top of her head, sunglasses covering her eyes, a crisp white t-shirt with a black Nike symbol on the shoulder, hands in the pockets of her fitted black shorts as she maneuvered through hefty football players that stood around the side lines.
Retired wide receivers and football legends Michael Irvin and Jerry Rice, who the pro bowl teams were named after, spotting her as she walked up. Both men meeting her during the beginning of the football season and also following her soccer career as well, being sports analysis for ESPN Irvin and Rice often talked her up giving her props, most recently defending her against Skip Bayless and other doubters.
"Uh oh, there go uh real football player walkin up!" Jerry Rice teased her, dragging out the o's in football.
Massy laughed as she was pulled into a hug by Jerry. "Congratulations, baby girl! Man they had the England game up." Jerry said shaking his head and releasing Massy from his arms. "Man, y'all rough on one another, y'all need some pads!" He said commenting on their style of play on the field.
Michael smacked his teeth. "We get her out there on the field!" He said pulling her into a hug greeting her next.
"Ain't no soccer ball out there!" Massy said laughing.
"Girl, you can get out there and kick that football around!" Michael said through his laugh.
"s**t, put her on the team as a punter!" Jerry added in agreement to Michael.
Odell looked over seeing Massy, his shades hiding his eyes making it difficult to judge what he was looking at. As he watched her joke around and laugh with both men, other players slowly making their way over to congratulate her on a undefeated rookie season so far, even though the players tried speaking up more conversation with her she remained distant, smiling, keeping the topic on sports and taking the compliment, eventually continuing her conversations with Irvin and Rice.
Though she didn't entertain them, properly and politely guided them away, he couldn't help but be slightly annoyed by the players that tried speaking to her. His jaw seemed to clinch, grinding his teeth together. Odell understood this wouldn't be the last time she'd be pursued, Massy was a very beautiful and talented women, but a very protective, possessive feeling overcame him.
