The beginning of week ten sent the Giants on a three-game losing streak.
The New England Patriots would remain undefeated with a 9-0 record. Though the Giants gave them their toughest game thus far they managed to hold onto their perfect season by just a hair. With Patriot player Stephen Gostkowski's 54-yard field goal with 1 second remaining, put them over the Giants 27-26. Odell went on to stun the Patriots and fans with another reach-and-go catch similar to the one against the Cowboys, he'd also run for the longest TD catch of his career: for 87 yards.
"He did some things that I've never seen done, he's a hell of a player." Patriots captain Tom Brady said of Odell after the game.
Week twelve the Washington Redskins would host them in a revenge game, only to come out on top 20-14. The Redskins seemed to put a cap on the Giants, intercepting Manning three times, all three catches intended for Odell.
'"We came out flat, too many mistakes." Odell simple said.
Once again Odell's frustration seemed to get the best of him, running to the sideline, pulling his helmet from his head and throwing it to the ground. This time reframing from punching anything or anybody.
Week thirteen would result in their third straight loss. This time to the New York Jets. Sending the game to overtime just to beat them 23-20. A visibly frustrated Coughlin, who most fans began to think he was facing a win-or-else season, the timing seemed to be off during the 4th quarter. Odell sprinted the right side of the field remaining untouched for a 72-yard touchdown.
''A loss is a loss." Odell said as he played in his hair, another familiar scene of reporters huddled around him in the locker room after the game. ''We didn't have the right connections, time and time again, in the fourth quarter with the game on the line. It's something we can't dwell on. We lost."
It was clear Odell and the rest of the Giants were frustrated, but Odell was right it was something he couldn't dwell on, he only had to look forward and work on what was next.

Massy's calculations would be wrong. Miami or Carolina wouldn't be her last game. The Jets would. As training camp called her she'd be in San Diego for roughly three weeks, back home for Christmas, back to San Diego to finish out training camp, then finally off to start her first season as a Forward for Team USA Women's Soccer. Something that she had literally been training for, her whole life.
Before leaving the Giants training facility she has one last thing to do. Massy rushed into the women's bathroom not being able to hold it until she got home, she danced and jumped up and down hanging her large purse on the back of the stale hook, then unbuttoning her black shorts. A sigh of relief left her mouth as she closed her eyes smiling, her body relaxing. She sat there for a few extra seconds enjoying the feeling of an empty bladder.
She whipped herself pulling the toilet paper forward, she looked down noticing the first stages of her period. Spotting. Massy had never been so excited in her life.
"AAAAAAHHHHHHHH THANK YOU JESUS! YES YES YES YEESSSSSS!"
She wiped again double-checking. A sure sign of her period was finally here. "OH MY GOD! I ain't never been so happy to see you in my life!" Massy looked up at the ceiling thanking God over and over. "I'll never have premarital s*x ever again!" She said talking to the ceiling. She paused then frowned for a few seconds remembering just how good the s*x with Odell was. What if i still have it but use a con...." Massy purse mysteriously fell from the hook and dropped to the floor, she stared down at the purse with wide eyes. She tilted her head back up looking at the ceiling. "You know, you right, you right. Ima just shut up." She said back taking her purse falling as a sign.
Massy busted through her front door, Mari already standing in the kitchen eating baby carrots. "What you call me over here for." She said covering her mouth with her hand as she chewed.
"I GOT MY PERIOD!" Massy said with bright eyes, she never been more excited in her life.
Mari finished chewing and swallowed. "You know you can still have vaginal bleeding while pregnant, it's not your period, but it's possible to bleed or have spotting." Mari emotionless said while looking at Massy, then putting a carrot in her mouth.
Massy's excitement seemed to drain from her body, it was like Mari was letting water out of a bathtub, it ran right down the drain. "You know what, you just earned yourself a new 24 hours! Starting now!" Massy said in anger.
Mari rolled her eyes. "Oh my god, look I know I joke a lot, but this is a serious situation Mas, you're about to leave for training camp and you could possibly be pregnant, you could really hurt yourself, suffer from a miscarriage, anything. You need to go to a doctor. And you need to tell Odell." Mari said turning around to look through Massy's fridge for more food.
Massy had never really heard Mari be so serious, and Mari was right, Massy could really be putting not only a maybe-baby in danger but she could be putting herself in danger. She cringed at the thought of telling Odell, even though he joked with her about having a kid, he did specify six years from now. She had never seen Odell around babies, she hadn't even seen herself around babies, he had a baby brother but she had yet to see him interact with him. This was a whole different kind of pressure.
"Fine." She said quietly.
"Good." Mari said dipping a carrot in ranch dressing. "I won't tell mom an dad either. Seeing how much you're freaking out."
Massy rolled her eyes and tossed her hands up. "Oh, yea cuz they're the top thing I'm worried about, not the fact that I could possibly be ruining my Professional Athletic Career before it even gets started due to a possible pregnancy because I'm addicted to having raw s*x with a football player!" She yelled out in frustration.
Mari put her finger up in debate. "Addicted to having raw s*x with a very ATTRACTIVE football player. Don't forget ATTRACTIVE!" Mari said very seriously.
Massy clenched her jaw, her nose flared up and she closed her eyes. "You know what!?" She opened her eyes looking at her sister. "You're now at 48 hours, don't talk to me for 48 hours!"
