Massy found herself kidnapped by a team of stylist, her teammates Ashlyn and Hope laughing at her as they sat around the room watching them run every comb, brush, and curling iron through her hair.
"You don't think O is going to think you're only doing this to get him back." Ashlyn said looking at her through the mirror with a raised eyebrow.
Massy sat up, her eyes wide open. "Oh my god! Oh my god! That's exactly what he's going to think." Massy leaned forward her elbows on her knees as she put her face in her hands. Ashlyn and Abby smirked at one another.
"Well if you and O aren't together, then it shouldn't be that big of a deal, right?" Abby said.
Massy shook her head in her hands, both stylist still pulling at her hair. "True, we're not together, but that's what he's going to think, I know it is." Her voice was muffled from her hands coving her face. Massy wasn't even thinking about Odell, or what he did, but she knew as soon as pictures dropped he'd assume the only reason she was showing up on his arm was to get him back. She honestly doing it as a thank you for him coming to see her play when he didn't have to.
After hours and hours of getting ready Massy shook her head, still thinking about Odell and what he might think, she battled back and forth with herself with if she was right or wrong to be doing this.

Massy opted to not show up on the red carpet with Michael, knowing that the cameras would be all over the both of them, assuming the two were a couple, due to the fact that he was seen two days prior at her game, and now she was at his event. Of course the media would link them as a couple. Michael knowing the only reason she didn't walk the red carpet with him was in consideration of Odell, but he also smiled at her consideration of him. Massy knowing that 'him and her' showing up together would take the attention away from 'him' and since it wasn't a soccer match it was his night.
Massy quickly and quietly walked up the back steps and cutting through a back entrance to the red carpet to meet him at the front doors. Michael reached for her hand and grabbed it into his, his other hand lightly touching her lower back as they began walking through the open doors. Massy knew that cameras would catch the two of them, but she knew if they did it this way she or Michael wouldn't have to explain anything. Michael kept Massy's small body close to his as they walked through fellow actors, fans, and venue staff members. Michael stopping every once in a while to shake another persons hand and have small talk, people also quietly congratulating Massy on the win.
Massy saw Michael still talking, she quietly listened as the man commended him on his acting in Creed. Her hand still in his, she began to pull away from him to go sit down. Michael's grip on her hand tightened, she looked at their hands then up at him.
"I'm going to go sit down." She mouthed to him not wanting to interrupt the conversation.
"Excuse me, just one moment." Michael held a index finger in front of the man's face, still holding Massy's hand he guided her to their seats in the front row, making sure she was seated comfortably he finally let go of her hand, pulling his pants up at the knees as he squatted down in front of her. "You ok? You comfortable?" He asked looking up at her with a soft genuine face.
"Yes." Massy said with a smile shaking her head up and down.
"Alright, I'll be right back." He said assured her. He flashed her one last smile showing off his dimples then stood up straight, he smoothed down the front of his suit, straightened out the custom black matte cufflinks that matched his black shirt, then slid his hands into his pockets, and walked off. Massy watched him the whole time with her mouth open in aww, she snapped back into reality as he got further away. She couldn't believe he stopped his whole conversation with probably a important director of many other movies to simply seat and make sure she was comfortable.
The older woman seated next to her tapped her on the arm. "Congratulations on your win." She said smiling at Massy, she smiled back, placing her hand on her mouth making sure she didn't drool on herself after seeing Michael adjust himself in front of her. "Thank you!" She said still checking her mouth.
"And congratulations on HIM." She said with a grin and a light chuckle assuming she was dating Michael. Massy frowned. "Oh... Haha no... Thank you." She said finally giving up on what to say, Massy wasn't about to break the whole situation down for the random woman for the sake of the woman's sanity.
As people took their seats the show began, many actors she knew from movies she had seen, others she didn't know. Big name films like Star Wars all the way down to independent films that she had no clue even existed were both honored. Michael and Creed director Ryan Coogler both winning two out of the four nominations they had. Michael once again keeping Massy close to him as actors, actresses, producers, and directors mingled throughout the giant room, congratulating one another, exchanging information for possible projects, he guided her out the room, to the big black SUV paparazzi still getting celebrities as they left the event.

"I'm actually excited I came, I never knew festivals like this existed." Massy confessed leaning against the table booth, after convincing Michael to go get something to eat.
"Really? It's film festivals all over the world, the last big one I was at was..." Michael looked up at the ceiling after being to so many he had to actually think about the last one he attended. "Dubai?... Yea, Dubai."
"Really? Dubai? Wow!? Never been." She smiled at him, this time flashing her dimples.
"Really? I'm sure you been to more places than me tho... I'm just a actor, you out here playing against other countries!" Michael said laughing as he down played his very successful and still rising career.
"The furthest I've been... So fare... Isssss, Asia, when we played Japan and China." Massy said making sure she was correct.
"See, I've never been."
"The culture there is unexplainable, they put the most random and weirdest s**t in vending machines! They have vending machines that you can order pizza from and it makes it right there in the machine." Massy said still sounding amazed by the fact that she actually saw it with her own eyes.
Michael frowned then laughed. "That's actually the smartest and greatest thing I've ever heard."
"DUH! I mean clearly ahead of their time! I ordered like five pizzas out of it!" Massy said with a very serious face.
"You are so cute." Michael randomly said as he laughed at her. Massy blushed then began laughing herself.
"I always wanted to know, if you have a son are you going to name him after you?" Massy asked with a frown, assuming he'd been asked this question before, but she couldn't help but ask due to his already notable famous first and last name.
"Nope, too much pressure. I went through so much pressure At some point it's got to end." He said closing his eyes, and shaking his head. Massy began laughing. "I'm named after my dad, he's Michael A. Jordan, so I had no choice but to be Michael B. Jordan." He continued as he put his foot down on ending the name. "When I have a kid... Well kids there will be no more MJ's"
"Kids?" Massy said raising an eyebrow.
Michael frowned his eyebrows and c****d his head back. "Yes kidsssss. I want a huge family, family is big to me, my parents have been together for... 40 years, I want that. But right now..." Michael shook his head no closing his eyes. "I'm too busy, here and there, being in two places at once. I still got a lot to do and see. Honestly I'm emotionally unavailable to even be with anyone right now." Massy frowned at his words, not knowing exactly what he meant. Michael seeing her face his smiled and licked his lips. "Unless, it's so undeniable, that I can't help myself but to be with that woman, but right now, I can't give a woman the true attention and affection she deserves, and I'd never lead or drag a woman on giving her false intentions that this could possibly be something. So when approached in a situation where a woman is looking for more than just friends, I'm honest with her straight of the top, if she can understand, then that's great, if not, then." Michael shrugged his shoulders. "It's all about patients."
Massy had just encountered a whole different kind of Mars, a Mars she knew nothing about, a Mars she didn't even know existed. She could respect Michael's honesty, most men weren't this honest, she sat in shock as she continued to listen to him, another level of appreciation seemed to unlock for him. No wonder women fell at his feet drooling over him. This was a dangerous man, and not the scary dangerous that he'd hurt a woman, but the dangerous where he knew he knew he was charming, and he knew how to use it, he knew he could make a woman fall just by flashing her his dimples. Michael knew his powers on a woman, yet he didn't use them against a woman.
