Chapter Nine

The drive was long and quiet, I eventually got bored and put the radio on and my favourite song came on; Blink 182 I miss you. I love that band.
I started nodding my head along to the beat and started singing quietly and i felt Norman looking at me "what?" i questioned him.
"nothing, just didnt know you could sing" he said looking back to the road and turning off at the junction.
"oh" was all i said and just sat quietly hugging my knees to my chest.
"sing" he said looking back and smiling "i like your voice" he looked away and blushing a little as he smiled..
"don't waste your time on me your already the voice inside my head" i started to sing and then the song finished and staright away Wheatus came on the radio. I looked at Norman and he looked back smiling and we started to sing together.
We soon arrived at our new home for the mean time. We got outside gates and Norman rolled down the window and typed the password in and the gates opened for us and he sped down the driveway and we got out of the car and walked down the gravel path to the front door Norman unlocked it and let me go in first i thanked him and walked in, this place was massive!!
As soon as you walked in you were in the seating area the walls white with pictures on the wall of the cast from The Walking Dead. There was stairs to the left but i walked straight forward and entered a kitchen and dinning area; the work tops where black marble, it was beautiful. The cupboards were white wood. I walked out while Norman followed me and i walked upstairs there was a bathroom to the right of the stairs and to the left was a closed door i opened it and there was a massive bedroom i gasped when i saw it and heard Norman chuckle putting his arm around my waist.
"hope you dont mind sharing" he whispered in my ear and blushed.
"nope and thank you so much for helping me Norman" i said turning around wrapping my arms around his neck and kissed his cheek.
We stood there in eachothers arms for a little while i snuggled into his chest listening to his heart beat i was lost in my thought "i feel safe in your arms" s**t did I just say that out loud?
he pulled away "really?" he questioned me raising hi eyebrows.
" i did say that outloud.. oops" i looked down at my feet he chuckled and pulled me back into a hug kissing my head.
"we need to go get food and cloths before it gets any later." i nodded and we walked out to the car and got in the shops where a 20 minute drive we went into a shop where norman picked up lots and lots of cloths for him to wear and sleep in.
We then put his bags in the car and went into another shop where we looked for things i could wear. Norman picked out some clothes and sleep wear for me and i liked what he picked out, i never thought a guy had good taste in girls clothes to be honest. My dad was terriable at shopping for me.
Once he bought me a skirt that goes below my knees and had lots and lots of pink and purple frills with green and yellow flowers on, i remeber that day like it was yesterday he walked in held it up to show me "no, defiantly not!" i said laughing my head off. My dad even tries to go on holiday wearing white socks with sandals. I've always been there to help my dad through style choices how is he coping right now?
I chuckled remembering those days. We finished my shopping and put the bags in the car and went grocery shopping we bought lots of food because we didnt know how long we would be in Atlana. Hopefully not long, i miss being at work already.
I sighed outloud "what wrong" Norman looked at me.
"nothing just wondering how long we will be gone from work" i looked out the window and he put one of his hands on my knee giving it a reasurring squeeze and i smiled at him. I think im begining to really like him.
We got back home and unpacked our clothes and shopping. Norman went downstairs and started making food for us as i put the rest of my things away. Once done I lay on the bed drowning in my own thoughts.
NORMANS PROV
I walked downstairs and started making some mac'n'cheese for us, i can't stop thinking about what Sage said earlier on about feeling safe in my arms, i smiled at the thought. I dont know whats happening to me i've never felt this way over a girl before, i mean when she first arrived i thought she was attractive, well she was more than attractive she was beautiful and she still is.. Damn what is this girl doing to me!
The pasta was finally ready and i put it on two plates and placed them on the table then i walked to the bottom of the stairs "Sage?" no reply.
I walked up the stairs and she was laying on the bed. She fell asleep, i chuckled and walked over i sat on the bed and just watched her then i smelt the food.
"crap" I muttered it's gonna go cold. "Sage" i said nudging her to wake her up.
"mhm" she groaned causing me to laugh a little.
"come on dinners out" she looked up at me and smiled then got up and walked out of the room behind me. We walked downstairs and sat down opposite each other and started to eat.
After finishing Sage picked up the paltes and walked over to the sink and started washing them "you dont have to do that, theres a dishwasher" i laughed as she cursed under her breathe.
I got up and opened the dishwasher for her as she put the plates into the washer and closed it pushing all the buttons that were on the machine.
She ovbiously didnt know how it worked "here watch me." i said laughing and pushing the correct buttons
"show off" she walked away and "im going outside to sunbathe while the sun is still up" she shouted getting changed into shorts and a vest top.
"yeah i might go for a swim" i shouted walking out taking my top off and bottoms off so i was standing in my boxers i jumped into the pool and came back above the water and watched Sage go and lie down by the pool side. I swam over to the side where she lay and climbed out of the pool.
SAGE's PROV
I was laying in the sun enjoying the sunshine for once and when the sun was blocked out of the way i stood up and was faced with a dripping wet Norman.
"out the way, your blocking the sun!" i said crossing my arms looking him up and down.. damn he looked good..
"nope" he said popping the p.
I narrowed my eyes "Norman"
"Sage" he said and smirked at me.
what is he thinking! I started to walk away and he started chuckling and running after me! I ran as fast as i could around the pool and he was running after me catching up, i was going to run inside when i stopped to catch my breathe for a split second and he picked me up and was about to throw me in the pool!
"no Norman, please dont!" i started sobbing as he chuckled "i cant swim. Please Norman, please" i was making tears fall down my cheeks and he stopped at the pool side and placed me down regret filled his eyes.
"im sorry Sage. i didnt know" he went to pull me into a hug and i pushed him hard and he fell into the pool.
"gotcha!" i said jumping up and down
"toche" he said swimming over to the side "atlease give me a hand up" he said pulling his hand from the water and i nodded i was going to help him and then push him back in, i smirked and put my hand out for him to grab and he took me hand smirked and pulled me in the pool.
"Norman" i shouted chocking on the water he pulled me into a hug holding me in the water.
I smirked dunking his head under the water he came back up and pulled me under with him this time i was prepared i held my breath this time.
We got up above the water and he pulled me into his arms and i looked right into his sparkly blu eyes while he looked into mine. i smiled at him and he smiled back before i knew it we both started leaning in.
It was a passionate kiss, he ran his tongue over my lip looking for entry and the kiss deepened.
