I'm in a freaking freezing cold pool kissing Norman Reedus! What? Thoughts flooded my mind he was my everything growing up and now I'm kissing him.
His rough lips were surprisingly soft and he was so tender pulling my body closer to him deepening the kiss as I wrapped my arms around his shoulders playing with the bottom of his hair, I could feel him start to smile into my lips and I smiled back but then pulled away before it could go any further.
"I'm sorry--" I started to say.
he cut me off before I could continue "it's okay.. It's my fault I really like you and I couldn't help myself" he said quickly looking away blushing.
"y-you like me?" I stuttered looking at him as I could feel my cheeks heat up.
He nodded still looking away "I like you too, but with what's happening I want to go slow. I'm sorry" I said looking at him still.
He looked up "What are you doing to me Sage? I've never felt this way and I will wait forever for you. Just tell me when your ready to be in a relationship--"
"no Norman. It's not fair for you to wait for me, I want to be with you but I want to take it slow y'know" I looked away
"then we will take it slow. I'll always protect you with my heart" he pulled me closer hugging me and kissed my head.
Are we now going out or? I'm so confused. I'll just go with the flow I guess. I was terrified.
My phone started ringing at the side of the pool I swam over and picking it up "McDonald's how can I help?" Norman chuckled
"Silage seriously?" I could hear the eye roll from frank on the other side of the phone. "I just want to ask if I sent some people to Andy's place if you could do their makeup. You won't have to come into town for it and you'll still get paid"
"yes! A million times yes Frank!" I smiled and hung up and looked back at Norman who was raising his eyebrows
"Frank is sending people over so I can do their makeup for the show!" I squeaked getting excited he just laughed and I got out of the pool and went to go inside and Norman followed.
"Damn it!" I almost shouted as I stubbed my toe continuing to curse.
"What did you do now?" Norman said entering the room to me being half naked wearing nothing but a jeans.
"Stubbed my toe and dude get out! I'm getting changed!" I shouted turning around before he would see the tops of my thighs, where I had all my scars.
"s-sage?" He sounded worried "why?"
"You're probably gonna find out eventually so I might as well tell you now, but promise me you won't change your opinion of me." I sighed turning around.
He looked at my legs "I promise" we sat down on the bed. I told him about everything.
Including that I'm not that close to my parents but I'm more close to my dad but not too close and how I found a way to live when my little brother was born and how I looked after him until he was able to go to nursery before my mum stepped up and then about how I met Matt and about the rape and the abuse.
Norman looked so shocked about everything "really. You went through everything you just told me. I don't blame you for harming yourself Sage. I don't but your here now and I'm here to help you through everything you need help with" he whispered wrapping a arm around me.
"thank you Norman" I started crying a little he pulled me into him and we lay back into the bed and he pulled the covers over us, we just lay there hugging an talking ".
Some extras from the show arrived with kit and I got to work. I was so tired afterwards that I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
I woke up to my phone ringing I looked at the time above the unknown caller "it's 5am this better be good or I swear I'm going to kick your ass!" I said angrily.
The ringing also woke Norman up too he laughed out loud at my answer. I nudged him in the ribs.
"well nice to speak to you to b***h! I heard what happened and wanted to make sure your okay?" The voice spoke.
"MEL! Oh my god! Hi!" I practically shouted with joy.
"answer the damn question Sage are you okay?" She said getting annoyed.
"yeah I'm fine hiding out somewhere until he's found" I felt Norman freeze and I budged over closer to him and turned around putting my face into his chest "no you can't come over just now! Stay in Scotland until he is caught Mel! No one knows that I'm hiding out.. Well apart from a few people but only because one is letting me stay at his house and the other is with me" I said sighing at her.
"okay fine! I will stay in Scotland until it's over then I'm coming ov--wait who's with you?" I could hear the curiosity in her voice.
"curiosity killed the cat y'know and Norman" I replied looking up and smiled at him and he kissed me she must have heard it.
"Norman Reedus?" She squealed.
"Yeah Norman Reedus who else dumb s**t!" I said then I had to pull the phone away from my ear while she screamed down the phone.
"YOUR IN BED WITH THEE NORMAN REEDUS AND I SWEAR I HEARD YOU TWO KISS!"
"Calm the f**k down Mel or I'm going to hang up!" I said sitting up while Norman laughed as I put it on speaker since he could hear anyway.
"okay fine! But are you two like a thing?"
I just looked at Norman and he looked at me and smiled "maybe, hopefully someday soon we can be official" Norman replied.
Mel started breathing heavily have a panic attack "Jesus Mel breath and I'm leaving! I'm going back to sleep!"
"Okay fine, whatever by the way my phone is broken so I'll call you every now and then and wear prote--" I hung up before she could continue
"sorry" I muttered to Norman and he laughed and pulled me in closer and we fell back asleep! Until my alarm went off at 8pm I looked at my phone.
"s**t!" I said getting up! I don't have any of my tablets and I need to take my pills! "Norman where's the keys to the car?" I asked nudging him
"on the unit downstairs why?" He asked sitting up confused.
"need to go to the nearest chemist." I sighed pulling a pair of pants on and walking out the room..
"I'll drive" he shouted running downstairs pulling a shirt on and his jeans almost tripping himself.
"you don't have too" I said but he insisted we got to the chemist 10 minutes later where I asked if I could speak to someone privately told them that I had left my tablets at my apartment and couldn't get them.
She looked at the screen got my name up to make sure I was on it and went away and came back 5 minutes later with 2 months supply of my medication.
We got in the car and I opened the bag and popped the medication in my mouth.
"What are those ?" Norman asked curiously as he started the car.
"Well this one is my mental health meds.. this one is folic acid and this little squishy one is vitamin d as I don't have enough of it in my body." I replied showing him what each one was.
"You're on folic acid? Isn't that what you get put on when you're pregnant? He asked raising his eyebrows at me.
"Yeah but after my last miscarriage the hospital put me on these to help my body recover" I sighed and he nodded understanding.
