Chapter Two

I woke up by someone shaking me awake. "What the f**k?" I shouted getting a fright.
I looked around and the hostess smiled "sorry but we landed in Georgia 30 minutes ago and you wouldn't wake up.
"Sorry" I replied and got up and left the plane.
I grabbed my bag and started heading out when I saw a man with a sign with my name on it, I recognised him. And I couldn't quiet put my finger on it.
"Are you looking for me?" I asked nervously peering at the older man.
"if this is your name and your working with Frank then yes I am" he smiled sweetly.
Where the hell do I know him from!
"I'm Sage." I said returning the smile "but obviously you already knew that" I said pointing to the sign with my name on it.
He chucked and grabbed one of my bags said "I'm Jeffrey, let's get you out of here."
Wait! What?! I knew I seen his face!!!! JEFFREY DEMUNN WAS PICKING ME UP FROM THE AIRPORT!!
"I knew I recognised you! Dale from the show! Oh my god! I didn't think you still worked with them since you were killed off.. You were and are my favourite character by the way. I'm a huge fan" I rambled on a little.
Jeffery started chuckling "well thank you and it's good to know I'm someone favourite and I'm not working with them but Frank asked me to do him a favour and pick you up so here I am" he replied as I beamed up to him!
We got into his car and he drove me down to my new apartment at the complex.
I looked up and just muttered "wow" I heard Jeffrey chuckle at my reaction as he got my suitcase and took it upstairs telling me to follow him.
He stopped on the stairs to speak to someone I couldn't see who because I'm quite small but I recognised her voice right away!
"Melissa McBribe" I said nervously
"yes? Do I know you?" She looked puzzled.
"No bu--" I stuttered out a little shell shocked.
Jeffrey then butted in before I could continue "she's new, from Scotland, she's going to be working in makeup for the walkers and we really should be going"
Melissa smiled at me "nice to meet you. I'll see you's later"
we then hurried to my door and he opened it for me as he had my keys.
We stepped in and I gasped as I saw the place was massive, the walls were white with some empty picture frames and other photography from the show.
"I need to be heading but it was nice meeting you and I'll let Frank know you are here in the apartment." Jeff smiled as he walked out the door before I could even say bye!
I ran around my apartment looking around with my music on full blast on my phone, until it started ringing.
I answered "Hello, This is the devil how can i help?" I giggled
"hey Sage.. Jeffrey said you were in the apartment so I thought I'd call and say that I'm going to text Steven Yeun and see if he can give you a ride to get your new car" it was franks voice on the other end.
"wait! What? My new car? Dude you bought me a car?" I said just about screaming!
"Yup you need a way to get to the set later tonight for your first time! I'm gonna go now text me if you need anything!" He hung up. It's really bugging me how he just does that.
*20 minutes passed*
There was a knock on my door I wondered over to see who it could be since I didn't know anyone.
I opened up to see a grinning Steven. "Uh.. Hi.." I said nervously almost letting my anxiety take over me!
"Hey get your keys lock up we are going to get your car" he said grinning while pulling me into a hug.
So I did as I was told and we went down stairs and into his car as we were about to drive off someone beeped the horn at him and he waved but I couldn't see who it was the windows were tinted up so I looked puzzled
"Lauren and Emily" he replied waving answering my unasked question..
*40 minutes later*
We arrived at the car place where we approached a person who worked there an Steven said my name over to him and he smiled and ushered him to follow us where he took me to my new car! I literally died when I saw it!!! It was a black 1967 Chevy Impala!
"HOLY s**t 67 IMPALA! ARE YOU KIDDING ME" I screamed jumping up and down then ran over to it where I started hugging the bonnet of this beautiful car!
Steven started laughing as he walked over to me "here's the keys follow me back in your new.. Well I'm gonna say car but I don't think that's what you'll call it" he handed me the keys as I was still hugging the car.
I followed him back an we parked out front a made our way upstairs where I thanked him for taking me to get the car.
I got inside and looked for Franks number. "Hello" he answered sounding a little busy.
"you got me a Impala! Dude I love it thank you thank you thank you and million times thank you!" I said starting to raise my voice
"no problem I was about to call the sets been canceled tonight and re-scheduled for tomorrow night. So I'll see you then. Get plenty rest!" He hung up again.
I grabbed my keys and went outside to my baby as I got in to go get some food since it was 11pm all the stores where shut so I had to go for a Chinese, I passed a McDonald's and thought about going there instead. I went through the drive through and ordered my favourite. While I waited I had my head back on the seat listening to blink 182.
Only to be pulled out of my thoughts when my phone started ringing and I sighed answering the unknown number
"hey it's Steven just popped by to see how you were settling in and you weren't there. " he said pretty much asking.
"oh yeah I got hungry and remembered I have no food in the apartment so I went out for Chinese and ending up going to McDonald's instead. I've just got what I want and heading back now. I'll be about 10 minutes" I said smiling to myself as the smell of my food went throughout the car.
"Okay I'll meet you out front in ten!" He replied chuckling a little.
"okay see ya" I said as I hung up. It felt good being able to hang up on someone instead of them hanging up on me.
I got back to the complex and was greeted by a smiling Steven he was standing beside someone. Emily I think.
"Hey Sage" Steven said hugging me after I jumped out the car.
"hey guys" I replied hugging him back.
We walked up stairs and he wanted to tell me to follow his car tomorrow to go to the set.
"Or you could just come and drive with me in my car" I suggested
"okay sure but I'm going to bed now so goodnight" he said and hugged me again.
I went in and ate my food on the sofa while listening to music again. I got up from the Sofa and went to the bin to put my rubbish in it. I heading to my closet realising I hadn't unpacked so I danced my way over to the suitcase still in the middle of the floor picking out a long top while taking my clothes off to slip it over my head.
As I lay in bed bored out my tree my phone vibrated "heyy, sorry I dunno what time it is but I just wanted to say hey make sure you arrived safe" it was from my dad.
i smiled thinking about how much I missed him. "Hey dad I replied back, it's okay it's only 12am here haha. You'll never guess what I got today! I got the car of my dreams!" I sent back.
Automatically got a reply "that's very awesome enjoy the car and you should be sleeping so get some rest love you xoxox" he replied and I smiled and rolled my eyes I'm 19 and in America and he's still telling me what to do.
"Okay dad goin to sleep now. Love you too xoxox" I pushed the button and fell asleep.
