Life just got better.. (Norman Reedus fanfiction)

Chapter Three

I woke up to the sound of banging on my door. I jumped up and ran over and opened it to where Steven was standing he looked panicked.

"wow.. Where's the fire" I groggily spoke yawning.

"no fire.. But your car is getting towed" he replied.

"what?" I screamed pushing him out the way and ran down the stairs with him on my heels. I ran outside "Steven my car isn't getting-"

I was cut off with shouting "surprise" everyone shouted.

When I say everyone I mean Lauren,Emily, Andrew, chandler, Melissa, Jeffrey, Frank and Norman were all stood in front of me.

I grinned a huge smile shocked and asked what the surprise was for. One by one they all moved out the way and pointed to a box. I went over and opened the box and there was a little kitten.

"It was just to say thank you for saying yes to the job and welcome to the family" Melissa spoke first, as I picked up the kitten.

Everyone's eyes were on me. "Steven next time you could atleast tell me to put pants on" suddenly becoming embarrassed by the way I'm dressed remembering I just had a long top on.

Everyone took turns to come say hello. Everyone except from Norman who just kept staring at me. Everyone eventually disappeared talking amongst themselves. That was except from Norman who was already up the stairs. I picked up the box the kitten was in and started to head inside.

I got to my door, looking down at the kitten in the box and softly put the box down on the floor in the corridor. I tried opening the door but it was locked. I looked for my keys but remembered I didn't pick them up or my phone so I couldn't call Steven and give him a piece of my mind. It's his damn fault I'm locked out my apartment with nothing but a t-shirt on!

"Damn it" I practically yelled while punching a wall!

A door opened and out walked Norman with a puzzled look on his face "w-what's up?" He asked with his piercing blue eyes.

"Locked out I panicked when Steven told me my car was being towed and left my keys an my phone in the apartment so I can't call him to give him a piece of my damn mind" I said falling against my door to the ground and picked up the kitten again.

Norman walked out to me and pulled his phone out and dialled Stevens number and said "hey I have a very angry person wanting to talk to you Steven."

I looked up at him and he handed his phone to me "hey Steven it's all your fault I'm locked out my damn apartment! Get your ass back here and get my damn door open or so god help m--"

He cut me off "okay okay I'll be there just now I'll grab the spare keys on my way" he hung up annoyed.

I handed Norman his phone back "thanks" I muttered loud enough for him to hear playing with the kitten in my arms.

"Why don't you come into my apartment until Steven comes" Norman suggested watching me.

"nah it's okay I'll just wait here so I don't miss him" I shrugged.

"Well you know where I am" Norman replied going back inside his apartment.

*about a hour later*

Steven finally arrived, waking me up and held a hand out to help me up.

I stood up with a blanket on me "where did this come from?" He looked at the blanket that was wrapped around me.

"I dunno." He replied and unlocked my door. I smirked and I punched him in the arm playfully as I thanked him for coming.

He left and went back to everyone else. I gently kicked box down into my new home and then put the sleeping kitten down on the sofa and went into my room where I unpacked my cloths listening to music and dancing around, singing out loud, I got dressed into a pair of leggings and a long t-shirt and put on a pair of my white Adidas converse that my dad got me and walked into the living room.

I sat down on the sofa when the little black kitten woke and walked up and jamp on my lap.

"Time to give you a name I guess. Mhm. What about Boots" the cat meowed I smiled "Boots it is then"

It was 2pm and I needed to go shopping I grabbed my phone and keys and headed out to the car. Plugged my phone into the speakers and drove off to the nearest shop. I grabbed a basket and started walking around picking up some groceries and some essential items for Boots. I went and got some ice cream and junk food finishing my shopping.

I made my way to the check out when I bumped into Melissa "hey Sage" she said beaming at me.

"Oh hey" I said smiling back.

"Shopping too huh?" Peering at the basket i had in my arms.

We chatted for a little bit and then I drove home and struggled up the stairs with my bags when Andrew was coming down I just about fell backwards but he caught me.

"Thanks" I giggled "probably should do a few trips instead of overloading my self."

"here let me help you Sage" he chuckled. He took some of my bags and we made it up the rest of the stairs and into my apartment.

We were welcomed by Boots jumping around at our feet "thank you" I said and he hugged me and left I started unpacking the shopping when there was a knock on the door I went over unlocked it.

A smiling Steven stood there "hey so I'm leaving in about a hour to get there on time is that okay?" He asked me

"yeah sure just come get me when your leaving I'll be ready" I said putting the rest of the shopping away. I went over and say down and he sat beside me and we spoke a little bit then he left to go get things ready.

"Shoot" I looked at the time. Leaving in 10 minutes. I ran into my room and re applied some of my makeup and quickly done my hair before grabbing my phone and keys to meet Steven.

He was leaving against the car when I bounced downstairs.

We got into my car "so did you name the cat yet?" He asked me fiddling about with the volume of the radio.

"yeh I named her boots" I smiled as I kept driving while he told me where to go.

We arrived at the set and I got shown to a makeup table and was told to wait for some of the people to come up and sit down I would have to do their makeup like zombies.

"Hey Sage, Frank is wondering if you'll do.. my casual dirty look for the show as the other artist had to leave" Andrew spoke coming into my trailer.

"Sure Andy sit down!" I gestured to the seat. I could feel eyes burning into my back "who's staring at me" I asked trying to concentrate.

"Norman, I've never seen him like this. And that blanket was his that you woke up with it around you" he smiled and nodded to Norman.

I nodded as I giggled as Andy poked me in the side and thanked me for doing his makeup and whispered into my ear "still staring" I blushed as he walked away.

It was a long night and after I cleaned up I waited for Steven onto on my bonnet of the car as I said bye to everyone. Apart from Norman. He just looked at me and then looked away jumping on his bike a went.

"Hey Siobhan." A tired looking Steven walked up getting into my car yawning.

"Hey sleepy head" I giggled and got in to the car too. It was a silent drive home and Steven nodded off for a few minutes.

We started climbing up the stairs he turned to me "what are you doing tomorrow?"

I looked thinking hard and then heard a meow "spending time with my little kitty" I said opening the door and picking Boots up. He chuckled "why?" I said staring at him.

"Just asking don't want you sitting around all day doing nothing while we are all out having fun so if you want you can come out with us tomorrow night."

"Sure I'll think about it" I smiled and said goodbye to him and walked into my apartment.

I slipped my clothes off and slipped a blink 182 shirt over my head. And lay down on my bed when Boots jumped onto the bed and started cuddling into my neck. I fell asleep smiling to myself as I heard Boots begin to purr.
