“Surprise!” the thrilling sound of a female voice cuts through my attention and I snap my head up to see who the voice belongs too as it sounds eerily familiar. My mouth falls open as I stare at the female, I had thought I would never see again. She looked slightly different from when I last saw her but there was no denying that it is her.
“Oh my!” I squeaked out as I hurry to stand up. “This is quite a surprise,”
“A good one, I hope?” Cheryl Riza stood before me and I couldn’t help but smile. It was good to see her again.
“Of course, tell me, where have you been?” I asked. The last time I had seen her was just before I left Stephan’s pack. She had mentioned that she was also leaving, the need to spread her wings had been strong enough that she had wanted to travel the world.
